The space
This is primitive cabin living at its finest! Two room "tiny house" cabin includes bedroom with small wood stove queen bed and chair. Bring your own bedrolls (sleeping bags) and pillows. Main area is combined kitchenette with booth table and children's bunk above the table (maximum combined occupant weight for bunk above the table is 200 lbs but is not recommended for small children who may fall out of bed or be unable to safely climb a ladder).
No bathroom in the Cabin. Primitive outhouse toilet facility with toilet paper provided. Limited water for washing dishes, hands, etc is provided with indoor sink in cabin. Bring your own drinking water and/or other beverages with a cooler, no refrigerator. Cabin has SOLAR ELECTRICITY for lights, ceiling fan, and small electronics. Propane radiant wall heater also available for heat instead of wood stove.
Coleman propane camp stove with green Coleman propane bottles provided plus outdoor propane grill and fire pit may also be used for cooking. Perk coffee maker and some dishes are available but for convenience we recommend you bring disposable plates and utensils.
This is a secluded off grid cabin with no shower facility. There is spotty cell service on top of some hills in the area but very little to no coverage at the cabin. This is truly an off grid, peaceful, and scenic getaway into the rugged great outdoors :). ***NOT RECOMMENDED FOR those needing to be very near emergency services or modern conveniences other than what's listed in the description.
Outdoor chairs and picnic table are available.
Firewood for indoor wood stove and/or outdoor fire pit is available if needed as a honor system CASH PURCHASE along with some other incidentals you might have forgotten (cash can is on the kitchen counter). Or bring your own fire wood. Your guest review rating by us will reflect well if you honored the honor system :) and cleaned up after yourself. Your card may be charged an incidental/damage fee if you do not honor the honor system.
CLEANING REQUIREMENT: We did not charge you an upfront cleaning fee with your rental in order to keep our rates low. Please take your trash with you and leave the cabin as clean as you found it for the next guest. Vacuum and cleaning supplies are under the kitchenette counter. HOWEVER if you do not clean up after your pet, yourself, and haul your trash out with you, you WILL be charged a $100 +/- cleaning/damage fee after you leave.
Other things to note
NO unregistered guests allowed on the premises. Maximum cabin occupancy is 2 adults and 2 children included in the base price (children total max weight for bunk above table is 200 lbs, NO adults in bunk above kitchen table). Additional registered children or adults in your party can bring their own tents and tent camp in the yard just outside the cabin for $15 per adult and $10 per child per night. If 2 adults only in cabin (with no children) and two additional adults would like to stay outside in a tent please choose 6 people in order to pay for the 2 additional adults outside.
Please help us keep prices low and this getaway nice, clean, and safe for everyone.
