You arrive, park right at the door, and step into a calm, light-filled home designed to slow the pace and clear the head. This is ABAITA—a journey homeward.
The name draws its meaning from two languages, both saying the same thing: "the journey home" and "the hut." We chose it because that's what we built it to be.
★ Why this house feels different
We didn't design this from a template. We moved into an empty house and lived in it through the seasons. We lit the stove just to watch the fire. We sat in silence. We learned what you actually need when you want to rest.
The house taught us. So everything here came from experience, not a spreadsheet.
★ What you'll find
The living area centers around a real wood-burning stove. You light it in the morning and watch the smoke rise. In the evening, you gather around it with coffee, a book, or someone you came with. Large windows frame fields and sky. Nature sets the rhythm.
The kitchen is fully equipped. Upstairs, a quiet lounge overlooks the fields—perfect for reading, writing, or breathing differently.
Bedrooms are built for actual rest. High-quality linens, thoughtful pillows, blackout blinds. You sleep deeply.
★ Outside is where the magic happens
A private wood-barrel sauna looks out toward the landscape. Heat it, cool off under open sky, gather around the fire pit as evening settles in.
The fully fenced garden offers calm corners for reading. On the covered terrace, meals stretch out. The rotating double lounger turns star-watching into a daily ritual.
Every corner is designed to help you disconnect.
★ Everything is included
No surprises. No meter readings. No hidden extras. Just clarity. We chose all-inclusive because we believe you should know exactly what you're paying. The house is fully unlocked and ready.
What's included: ✔ Electricity, heating, AC, water ✔ Private garden sauna ✔ High-quality bed linen and towels ✔ Toiletries and cleaning supplies ✔ Fiber Wi-Fi ✔ Final cleaning
★ Pet-friendly by design
We designed ABAITA for people and dogs together. Our dog Choya helped shape every detail—from the fenced garden to the durable, warm materials.
Choya passed before the house was finished, but her spirit lives here. If you've brought your companion, know this: they're not just allowed. They're thoughtfully welcome. This house was designed with them in mind.
★ The place itself
The house sits at the edge of Hafendorf Zerpenschleuse, opening directly onto fields, forest, and quiet. Zerpenschleuse is a hidden corner of Brandenburg—not about attractions, but rhythm. You walk the canal, hear owls at night, or do nothing.
It's a place to exhale.
Built with care. Shaped with intention. For those who understand that beauty doesn't need to shout.

About the host
Hosted by Kobi / Vincenzo
We're Kobi and Vincenzo—partners in life and design. One works in interior styling and design; the other brings warmth and creative hospitality.
We created ABAITA as more than a rental. It's a retreat designed to help you actually rest. While we may not greet you in person, every detail carries our attention—from how light falls to how the bed feels.
ABAITA was built with care, love, and intention for people like you who long for peace and stillness.
Why they chose this property
Our dog Choya led us here. During the pandemic, we visited Zerpenschleuse with her for a walk. She explored the available plots, then stopped in a quiet clearing and lay down. That was our answer.
Choya didn't see the house finished, but her spirit lives in it. This place has her calm, her instinct, her peace.
Zerpenschleuse is quiet—fields, sky, owls at night. It's a place to exhale.
What makes this property unique
We didn't design it from a template. We lived in it first—through seasons, through silence. Every choice came from asking: what do you really need to feel at ease?
Nothing here is flashy. Everything is intentional.
It's for those seeking beauty, calm, and reconnection. Not just a place to stay, but a feeling you carry with you after you leave.
