Our family enjoyed staying at the Checkmate. Plenty of room in the house and lots of parking room for our vehicles and boats. We had a great stay for our family get together.

Brand New Cabin, Amazing Location

Amazing property, perfect for lots of families. We especially love that nearly every bedroom had a bathroom attached. Great yard and hot tub. Easy and quick lake access with a large field for kids to run around. Great place!

We had a little bit of an issue with a lack of towels and there seemed to be someone from the maintenance company there every day, something I've never experienced with a vacation rental before. Apparently there was in issue with the sprinklers they were trying to work out. The home is newer and was clean and in very good condition. The little ones especially enjoyed the "secret" room under the stairs! Overall we enjoyed our stay

This home was perfect for our family gathering. Plenty of space. Lots of light. Very comfy beds. Plenty of parking. It was a little farther from the water than we had originally thought - but it worked. For the host/owner - could use a larger kitchen garage can, propane tanks full on grills, and card table(s) for games, puzzles, crafts etc. Would highly recommend this beautiful property. Would use again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean uncomfortable for a whole family. The Jacuzzi was enjoyed and the video games on the Pac-Man machine were fun. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and everything was new. I would recommend this place to anyone.
