On the Mountain is in the heart of Mt Crested Butte’s world-famous outdoor recreation. The chairlifts that operate in the Winter and Summer to shepherd skiers, hikers, and bikers onto the mountain are a 5-minute walk. You can set off on foot or bike and be at a variety of trailheads within minutes. For those who prefer our accommodation removed from hustle and bustle of town but still like to get in the mix; the bus stop to Town stop is located in the Chateaux's parking lot.
