Excellent lodging in Stratford ON

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Julie. The beds were very comfortable, we enjoyed hanging out in the spacious livingroom, and appreciated the amenities in the kitchen. Check in and check out were very convenient, and Noel was helpful before our stay in answering questions. This was my second year at Hotel Julie and I would definitely return another year.

We were in Flat 4. Parking for this flat is not great. Thank goodness we had a small car. We had to call the property manager as large recycling bins were left by cleaning crew in our parking spot. He was there within minutes. Check in was easy. The kitchen was lovely and had everything we needed and more. Our only complaint about the kitchen was the lack of paper towel and only one dish towel. The beds were comfy. Only tv in the unit was in the bedroom. The sitting area was a decent size but the furniture was too large for the room and uncomfortable. There was a large curved sectional and made the access to the bathroom quite narrow and difficult to move around in the dark. Unfortunately one of our party did get a flea bite while sitting on the rug in the sitting area. The bathroom was a decent size but the shower unit could use some love. There were four women in our party and we were left two rolls of toilet paper each with only about 1/3 of the roll left. We contacted the property manager at about 10 pm and he was there shortly with more toilet paper. Location to downtown was good…only about a 10 minute walk. For the most part the unit was quiet except for being able to hear people walking overhead. With taxes and fees this room ended up costing us 800 and I feel the value was just not there. Would not stay here again for the price.
