Great location, wonderful house!
We had a great stay! It’s close to many little golf communities and walking distance to downtown Southern Pines. The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.
We found the property to be clean and well equipped with essentials. Great location - walking distance from the downtown area. The space is modern and well maintained. We were very pleased with the accommodations.
This townhome was just perfect for my stay in Southern Pines--centrally located and equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We could walk to town in 5 minutes. Enjoyed going up to a cute new(ish) placed called Cork for drinks. All in all, a perfect 2 days.
Great location. Walkable to downtown. Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable home.

This home was the perfect place of rest and relaxation for me and my family. We were mesmerized the moment we entered the home. Downstairs was well decorated with contemporary furniture and a well equipped kitchen. All three bedrooms upstairs are specious with extremely comfortable beds. We will definitely secure this home in the future upon our return to the area.
Traveled to Southern Pines with some friends to play golf. The townhome was in a good location, short drives to play golf, walking distance to some restaurants and a brewery.
Part of me doesn’t want to say how enjoyable our stay was as others will book it when I want to return. The home was beautiful. Perfect location. You can walk to downtown Southern Pines and all the awesome restaurants and shops. It’s also ten minutes or less to most of the best Golf courses. The home was modern and very clean. I could not say anything negative about the property
Very comfortable. Great location. Very clean. Well-equipped kitchen. Highly recommend. If you stay here, bring your own shampoo and Kleenex. Otherwise, it had everything we needed.
We stayed at a house that was three bedrooms and 2 1/2 bath. There was also a two car garage. Everything was very clean. We had everything we needed for our stay and I can’t wait to go back. The location was in walking distance to down town Southern Pines. It was just what we were looking for.
Comfortable, clean. Convenient location. Very nice accommodations. Short on towels and only 2 washcloths for party of 6. Would definitely book again...but bring additional bath towels/cloths.
Owner was very responsive to our questions. We were pleased with the location having stayed there previously. We would definitely stay there again. Very clean. appliances and tv worked well. Safe and quiet neighbourhood. Near lots of good restaurants and, most important, great golf courses. Weather was fine.
Stayed here during my daughter’s golf tournament. Fantastic property. The place seemed brand new. Quiet area, close to restaurants and shopping. It had everything we needed during our stay. We stayed in the main bedroom, and the bed was so comfortable. Plenty of space to spread out. We love coming to this area, and would definitely stay here again. Communication with Janet was great. She was very responsive to our requests.
4 friends spent a weekend here for a nearby golf tournament. It was a perfect location and lovely property. One person thought it would be nice to have a couple of lamps in the living room and/or dimmer switches on the ceiling lights. It was clean and nicely decorated. It was also well supplied in the kitchen and bathrooms. We would return. The keyless entry wasn't working that day but the door key was left for us under the doormat.
We were in town for a golf tournament for our son. Those who reading this review and are traveling for golf, we were playing #9 and of course, visited the main resort for the Cradle. All the courses are nearby. There was plenty of room for us to spread out. I had to work some and the good Wi-Fi connection was welcome. It rained quite a bit while we were there and being able to do laundry/dry things was a great plus! This property is located in a nice neighborhood and truly walking distance to restaurants and shopping. I cooked breakfast and a few dinners at the rental and had all the equipment needed. We travel quite a bit for golf and stay at vacation rentals often and we appreciate good beds, nice linens and a comfy couch. The townhouse was super clean, it was nice to be able to park in a garage and it was quiet. I would highly recommend this stay.

Nice Southern Pines Townhome
Overall, our stay and the townhome itself in Southern Pines were very good. Place was clean and tastefully decorated. New flat screen TVs were nice and easy to use. Great location for the area and walkable to downtown Southern Pines. Having access to the two car garage to park the cars was a bonus. House was also stocked with most supplies needed for a 3 night night stay. Opportunities for improvement for future guests:1) More wine glasses. There were two - one regular and one tiny tumbler style. Not ideal even for 2 guests.2) Provide more wash cloths for the bathrooms and dish towels for the kitchen. We only found 2 wash cloths for 4 guests and no dish towels for the kitchen (ended up using a bathroom hand towel).Other than that, would not hesitate to stay here again if visiting the area. Thanks!
Lovely contemporary 2-story townhouse w/attached garage in convenient location. We enjoyed our visit and would stay again. However, there is room for improvement. Cleanliness was not up to standards of other short-term home rentals we’ve stayed at. It had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival: fridge and pantries were full of prior guests'(?) beverages and some unsealed food; trash was still in the garage and recycling bins were full (possibly there for a while); front porch had wasp nests.Inadequate supplies for 6 guests for a week - we had to buy more: only one dishwasher pod, no facial tissues, not enough toilet paper and paper towels; linens were not clearly laid out like in other places we’ve stayed - we had to go to the linen closet to find them, and there weren't really enough for 6 people; toiletries provided were low-quality. The kitchen had plenty of tableware, but all of it mismatched and no wine glasses. Garage had shelving units, boxes, and trash bins along both sides, making it hard to get in and out of two cars if parked inside. Guest bedrooms are small and lack functionality - only one bedside table per bed, no chest of drawers or place to rest suitcases. Finally, the stairs are quite steep. While the owner can't do anything to change this, I would recommend calling out in the listing that the stairs may be difficult for older folks, especially those with mobility issues.

Disliked: Check-in
House was not ready upon check in
I was called a few hours before my check in time by the cleaning staff and was told that the house would not be ready until around 5:30 pm. Unfortunately this was a pretty big inconvenience, because we had planned to arrive at normal check in time, take showers, and change before attending a family dinner. So we went to our event sweaty and in our travel clothes. The cleaning lady mentioned that we might get a discount on our stay, but that never happened.
Upon check in, the unit was clean. The bed and linens were comfortable. A/C worked well. No towels were set out in the bathrooms upstairs or downstairs, but we found them in the closet.
Overall it was a nice and new unit but our short stay was a bit spoiled by the check in process.

Response from VrboOwner on 1 Apr 2020
Laurie, we are very sorry that your stay fell short of expectations. There was a communication error with the cleaners that caused a setback in the cleaning process of the home. The owners wanted to be sure that it was properly cleaned to their standards, to ensure that you had a comfortable stay. They would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and have taken the necessary measures to ensure it does not reoccur for future guests. The owners do all they can to make it the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Best, the Evolve Team
Janet did a superb job cleaning the condo! I was able to walk around barefoot and my feet stayed clean! Bathrooms were extremely clean, the whole place was spotless. Janet was also quick to answer any questions we had during the stay. She was very pleasant and accommodating! The beds were extremely comfortable and the sheets felt nice! The location is nice and convenient to walk around downtown So. pines. The place is pretty sound proof, as far as hearing things from outside or neighbors. We stay in short term rentals often, 3 in So. Pines, and this is the best one yet! The only thing lacking was wash cloths, which I brought because I read that on an earlier review. Laundry detergent is provided but bring softener if you use softener. The kitchen has some basic items like salt and pepper and a few condiments, which we did not use because there are so many delicious restaurants, in walking distance, we wanted to visit. We were only able to fit one car in the garage but if you have small cars you can fit two. Same thing for the driveway. Check in and check out were simple! We would definitely like to stay here again!
