Loved the location in Boise. Negatives of the place are they require a later check in then most places at 5pm. (Typical check in is at 3 or 4pm) They also want an earlier check out then most at 10am. Typically check out in all my travel experience is 11am (We travel frequently!!!!). It is also a little confusing on how to get into the unit with finding a lockbox located on a bike amongst a lot of other bikes and then you have to repark before accessing the unit. They also will not send you the check in instructions until 2 hours prior to check in. We were on a plane and it is a LONG 1 page of directions on how to check in!!!! We found that frustrating!! Trying to read that all after being jet lagged and tired was not a great way to start the stay. Most places share that information the day before you travel in my experience. The unit is nice and location is great.

For clarity, our standard check-in time is 3:00 p.m.—not 5:00 p.m.—and our 10:00 a.m. checkout time is clearly disclosed in the listing before booking. These times give our cleaning team the necessary window to thoroughly clean, inspect, and prepare the apartment for each arriving guest. They also allow us to accommodate early check-in and late checkout requests when availability permits. Our detailed arrival guide, including instructions for locating the lockbox and accessing the building, is sent two days before arrival so guests have ample time to review it before traveling. Only the unique lockbox access code is sent two hours before check-in for security purposes. Because the apartment is located in a secured building, guests arriving by car briefly park near the garage entrance to retrieve the key fob before moving their vehicle to the reserved covered parking space included with the rental. We appreciate your feedback and would be happy to host you again.

This apartment at The Local was perfect! A lovely room with very walkable access to St. Luke's hospital. I was disappointed that the pool was not open year-round, but I did use one of the hot tubs on the elevated patio area. I'd love to come back during the summer to swim and enjoy being above street level with two small hot tubs, games, and chaise lounges.

Cozy modern perfect!

This loft was perfect for our quick trip to Boise! Not large, but the location was perfect and just what we needed. Kitchen was well appointed for breakfast. We appreciated the clean location and the parking spot on the same level as the unit for easy access for my Mom. My only wish would be a table that could be used for dining/working - there was a chair, but no surface at the right height to use…Thank you!
