*Minimum 31 days* This beautiful apartment is located in the exclusive and peaceful neighborhood of Alamo Heights. Adjacent to the Botanical Gardens and within walking distance of the SA Zoo, Brackenridge Park, San Antonio Country Club, Fort Sam Houston and only 10 mins drive to Downtown. It is remodeled with wood and tile floors, ceiling fans in all rooms, custom all tile shower & granite counter tops. Outside the apartment there is a BBQ grill, sitting area and lots of reserved parking space.

This three-bedroom 1000 square foot home has everything you may need. Cable TV, high speed internet/ WIFI, washer and dryer, and much more. The 3 bedrooms can comfortably sleep six guests, plus an queen air mattress. This home can accommodate a total of 8 guests. The high ceilings and skylights make this a bright and inviting space. I can assure you will love it! You are welcome to enjoy this home in its entirety from the kitchen to the yard. You have 2 reserved parking spots within the complex and plenty more off street.

Located in a quite area inside Alamo Heights of San Antonio, right behind the Botanical Gardens and near the University of the Incarnate Word. Apartment is walking distance to the San Antonio Zoo, Brackenridge Park, San Antonio Country Club and only 10 mins drive to downtown San Antonio. Ride sharing is popular in San Antonio and we have Lyft and Uber. Popular nearby attractions are a short drive away and some are even walking distance.

• Check in is at 3pm. No keys are required.
• Checkout is at 10am. No keys are required.
-Late check-out might be possible for an additional fee (Please ask for an approval first)

I will be more then happy to assist with any issue. I live 10 minutes away and will gladly help with any need. While you're here, the apartment is yours to enjoy and interaction with me is up to you! You can use the keypad entry to access the home and I will send you the access code upon arrival. Once you have settled in, do not forget to check out my list of top recommended sites to enjoy while you are in the Alamo city. I want your stay to be as pleasant as possible so please don't hesitate to contact me via the app.

Enjoyed the stay.

On the last day of our stay the people next to us had a dog and it was barking early in the morning and I could hear them arguing. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Older condo/apartment. Remodel was ok. Adequate for short stay.

Was a bit worried when owner/manager would not give us details till day of arrival but it worked out. Neighborhood was not great but no issues.

Mostly good experience

Apartment was as expected. It was clean. Beds were comfortable. Shampoo was available which was nice. A hair dryer would have been nice but not a deal breaker. The neighborhood wasn’t the greatest but ok for the price point. There were a lot of food options a short drive away and the botanical gardens are a short walk. My only real complaint that is more architectural in nature: the bottom step is kind of weird and the handrails stop before this step. It’s obvious going up but coming down in the dark it’s very hard to see. It’s definitely a hazard.

Not what I expected

Someone did a good job of taking photos of the apartment for sure! Makes it look much nicer than it truly is. I booked originally based on reviews. Well I don’t think all the reviews are just for this apartment but the others in the complex. So let me start out with this is an old apartment and in an older area. Did not feel unsafe though. But the apartment needs so help for sure. The tables legs are wobbly. The air conditioner leaked from the ceiling into the living room. The fridge is missing a handle. Any repairs that have been done on the apartment have been done very poorly. These beds I am also certain are not queens but full sizes. They leave the air on 77 so when you come in from 100 degree weather into an apartment that’s almost just as hot is ridiculous. They did have an air mattress that I was excited for but nope it had a hole in it and read in a previous review that oh they would have fixed that. Well it’s still bot fixed. .. had to go buy our own… I did message the owner and mentioned these things above. He just said he would send a guy to spray. I mean I feel like if you are renting this apartment out it should be throughly cleaned, have some air going and be big free upon arrival. I am just saying that if you want to stay in an old apartment with many issues than this places is for you. I mean at least fix the fridge handle and the leaking spot in the ceiling. You can see where it’s been speckled over and over. That obviously is not taking care of the issue!

At first glance it looks nice but if you look close you can see it’s just paint and spackle to hide problems, the biggest of witch is the back of the unit has settled a lot. At a halfway point the unit slopes towards the back wall, it looked like 4-6” in the kitchen. I hope that the building inspector have looked at it. On our second day there the bathroom off the dining/living room backed up. Not just the toilet but the tub also. We called the owner who said he would have some there in the morning, since it was after 5 and his maintenance guy had left. Understandable. No one showed up 10 as far as I know so I sent him an email reminder. Still know one later in the day so I called both numbers that he gave to get ahold of him with no answer, also sent another email. No answer until I got an email that said he would not be around his phone till Sunday nite. No one ever showed up to fix the problem, we where unable to use that bathroom for the rest of the stay. Also the sink in the bathroom needed a new aerator it was hardly putting out any water and the shower head need to be soaked in limeaway or something like that. The Master bedroom. When I emailed him about the bathroom I also mentioned that a pair of outlets in the master bedroom where not working. One sparked when we plugged something into it. He did not comment on this. This made me and my wife to have to sleep in separate bedroom since we could not plug in both cpap machines. Also the ceiling fan is loud. The master bathroom the fan looks like it is plugged with lint. All the problems other than the settling can be easy fixes, hopefully he does. The neighbor for about two blocks around the rental is not great but is/this not a horrible neighborhood either. After that the neighborhoods better. For what we where doing was a good spot, close to everything . The Alamo, the zoo, the missions and the collage where my wife was at a conference.. I was just so disappointed that he didn’t or couldn’t get anyone there to fix the bathroom and wouldn’t even communicate that with me

Perfect location

My daughters and I wanted a location close to the zoo and riverwalk. This location was perfect for that. The neighborhood is older and at first I wasn’t sure I made the right choice, but we never felt unsafe and it was quite comfortable. The beds are very comfortable. One thing I would suggest is a ceiling fan in the 3rd bedroom for added comfort. Overall the place was as expected and we had a wonderful stay and visit to San Antonio. The host was also very communicative and made sure we knew he or an assistant were available for any needs we might have.

A few updates needed.

This spot was a great location, easy driving distance from everything that you'd want to do. They were just a few things that needed to be updated. None of the lamps in the bedrooms worked, the blinds in the main bedroom wouldn't close, and even though there were extra air mattresses in a closet none of them actually stayed inflated or worked so they were pretty pointless. Overall it was a great stay, and a good value, just needed a little bit of detail attention.

Best bang for your buck!

Such a great host!! The apartment was clean and everything was washed and fresh. Communicating with Daniel was super easy and quick responses. While the neighborhood isn't the "safest" I still felt safe and secure. Lots to do around the area. We had 2 adults, 3 teenagers, a 8 and 6 year old and toddler. Plenty of space and beds :) I will definitely stay here again!!

Home was very clean and well supplied with all needs to make a great visit.

When booking this room it was not listed as an upstairs apartment. That detail was added after booking was completed. Had my disabled son decided to come with us this would have been a huge mishap. But overall our stay was great! Would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay

This property was very affordable and close to multiple beautiful spots to do for a family or even adult trip! The owner was very nice and communicative with us during our stay! The master bedroom was nice and the fact it had a in room bathroom was also nice privacy wise! Overall our stay was great!

Ways to improve

First of all it was great not listed as an upper unit. Had our grandson not been with us it would have been difficult getting our luggage up the stairs. Never did get in the lockbox to get a key. Called Daniel and Never got a call back. Each apartment should have 1 designated parking spot. Grandson had to make a call to get wifi to do schoolwork. TV kept going in and out Sunday from 4:30 on. Only lukewarm water in the kitchen for doing dishes.

Needs improvement!!

On his way back from picking up dinner one evening my son was approached by someone from the neighborhood looking to buy drugs. As for the rental unit, it was a case of "lipstick on a pig." Whomever renovated the unit did a piss-poor job. The building itself is old which was made evident by the exposed rusted out plumbing in the bathrooms, an awkward step in the hallway just outside the hall bath; the ancient stackable washer and dryer located in a cramped hole-in-the-wall located in the kitchen. It is definitely NOT a place for someone with mobility issues. Furnishings were adequate but this just isn't a secure enough area of San Antonio for someone visiting for the first time and looking for anything beyond an emergency one-night stay because nothing else in the price range, date, and/or preferred area is available which describes my particular situation that weekend.

Hi. This is one of the nicest areas of San Antonio and it is located right behind the Botanical Gardens, Zoo and university so no shady people there. Great location

We loved that we were close to everything we wanted to do. We really appreciated that we were able to bring our dogs and that there is a small dog walking area on the property. The apt was clean and well stocked with towels and other home comforts like the pots and pans. Over all we absolutely enjoyed our stay, the only negative we had was that the beds are a little well used and not completely comfortable. That being said we would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.
