The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put the keys on the hook by the front door and lock it when you leave.
Make sure the lights are off, Summer turn the air conditioning to 85. winter, turn the heat to 60 .
Make sure that you wash the dishes, wipe the countertops, and clean up after your cooking.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We ask that after 9:00 is quiet time. Parents are responsible for their children following this rule.
No marijuana (medical or recreational) is allowed anywhere on the property. Cigarette smoking is permitted outdoors only.
Each room has an exterior light, all the lights outside the house should be turned off at bedtime. And off upon leaving.

There were a few little situational bumps getting checked in, but our host was quick to respond and rectify, which is always tops in my book. The property was extremely clean and delightfully furnished: comfy couch, funky warm lamps, large TV, zippy wifi, and lots of books and art and even instruments to enjoy. The kitchen was admirably stocked with anything you would need to make a meal. The heat was efficient (I apologize for not turning it back down to 60 before leaving! I should have checked the list once more before closing the door) and the beds cozy and conducive to a good sleep. Ukiah is fairly compact, and nothing you could need or want is far. My teen son and I had a great little time!
