Comfortable and beautiful home within walking distance of Mayo Clinic Hospital. It is one mile from Scottsdale road, 3 miles to Keirland Commons outdoor mall and 4.5 miles to WestWorld. There are multiple restaurants, bars, movie theatres and outdoor hiking within a 3 mile radius of the location. The house is a spacious 2375 sq ft ranch style one story. There is a master bedroom and large handicap equipped master bath on one side. The opposite side of the house has 2 bedrooms. There is a large kitchen den area. The property is 3/4 acre. The large front yard has beautiful desert landscape. The back yard has a rectangle 5 foot depth non heated pool perfect for exercise.

Pricing is good, home needs some TLC

This is a very nice home in a great location, unfortunately there is a fair amount of deferred maintenance that needs to be done. The owner works hard to solve issues, but she can only do so much from a remote location and this effects the rental experience. IMO, the rental cost is below market rate, so its a good value but it comes with some compromise for the renter.

Lovely home

As a family of three adults, we truly enjoyed the recent stay in this Scottsdale home. The location, neighborhood and amenities were excellent and the house was clean and inviting. All went well and the only minor suggestion would be brighter lighting in the bedrooms since the current wattage seemed quite dim. We would return to the home without hesitation!

Lovely Home in a Great Location

This was our first time trip to Arizona. Phoenix was in the middle of a heat wave, but since this home had everything we could’ve needed and was super close to places to eat and the grocery store, we hardly noticed! The pool had an older tree nearby that offered the perfect shade in the afternoon, so we were able to lay out without fear of burning. I think I would’ve stayed here all summer if I could’ve! The only hiccup was communicating via the VRBO system was not as effective as by phone, so just a tip for future renters who rarely call people. The owner was wonderful and always available. We would stay here again!

Waste Management golf stay

Had a great stay at this property. Two suggestions, better reading lighting. We all enjoy reading in our down time and this is one complaint common on our VRBO stays. Also another tv in the front living room would be nice since 4 of the 6 of us wanted to watch golf? To bad for the other two.

Great Home and Location!

We stayed here while my mother recovered from a procedure she had done at the Mayo Clinic and it could not have been more perfect. The house was extremely clean and fully furnished. Truly a home away from home! A quite neighborhood but close to several grocery stores and good restaurants. Kathleen was an amazing host! Extremely friendly and very easy to get a hold of. She checked in with us a couple of times during our stay, just to make sure everything was ok. Don't hesitate to rent from her!

Why they chose this property

At the end of my career, I was a vice-president in the Phoenix area. Although I had a home in Southern California where most of my family resides, I tired of traveling back and forth weekly. I purchased this house having fallen in love with Scottsdale. I am away at times now so chose to offer the house to others to enjoy as much as I do.

What makes this property unique

Several times the house has been rented by families to support patients having surgery /procedures at Mayo Clinic. The close proximity to Mayo Clinic and the spaciousness of this one story home make it a great location for that purpose. Additionally, the house is in a central location and is close to the venues where concerts, car shows, equestrian events and golf events in Scottsdale occur.
