Kaanapali Alii is a superb resort that is ideally located. It is a short walk to nearby whaler's village shops with many restaurant options. When conditions are right, there is a surfbreak right out front of the property. Overall our family enjoyed the property and would visit again.

This was a great property but there were a couple things I would have wanted to know prior to checking in. (1) The beds are SO soft. This works great if you love a soft bed, but unfortunately, our backs really need a firmer bed so we really didn't love this. (2) There's some sort of restriction on the hot water so we could only get a pretty warm shower but never a HOT shower. However, the room was clean, well-appointed, the host was lovely and responsive, and the view was beautiful. Would 100% stay again ONLY if they upgraded their mattresses.

Aloha Carla and mahalo for your comments. We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful view and found the condo clean, well appointed, and the team responsive. We appreciate your feedback on the beds. While bed comfort can be subjective, we will complete a thorough inspection of the mattresses for quality. We will also look into the hot water to ensure everything is functioning as expected. We hope to see you on your next visit to Maui. With aloha, MRR
