Newly and directly constructed in 2016 by the host who majored in industrial design, Karezip is full of awesome design features from Japanese style cuisine bistro on the 1st floor to a small lawn space on top of the building. It may look small at first glance, yet we have put much efforts in creating a place that can please your eyes. Come and visit us! We are the best fit for couples, business travelers and family travelers with kids.

Located in a university town of Dongdaemun district, every place in downtown is easily accessible. You can experience the exuberant spirits of young students as well as antique atmosphere of old downtown. Large campus of the University of Seoul is great for taking a stroll and prices are relatively reasonable compared to other areas of Seoul. Within 3-minute-walking distance to the University of Seoul, pubs, restaurants and cafes of different ambience are in your reach. A convenience store(SEVEN ELEVEN) is right in front of the building. During the Pyeongchang Olympic Games, high-speed train(KTX) run from Cheongryangri Station to Gangwon Province. It takes 1 hour from Cheongnyangni Station to Pyeongchang.

Great Stay

The location could not have been any more perfect: bus depot, subway, good restaurants and cafes all just a short walking distance away. We had issues with the bathroom but the hosts were always available in communication and the situation was rectified immediately. I would love to stay here again the next time we visit Korea!

Great accommodation

The property was perfect for our family. We enjoyed dining in the restaurant downstairs as well as several other nearby restaurants. Access to public transportation was very convenient for our daily sightseeing around Seoul and the 7-Eleven across the street came in handy as well. Inside the apartment, we had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, hot showers, and cold A/C. My son particularly enjoyed the smart toilets!

The host was very friendly and responsive to messages. This was a perfect sized unit for a family of four. Everything we needed was provided in the apartment. The heated floors and high-tech toilets were nice upgrades. The apartment is close to everything including buses, the subway, stores, and restaurants. Our family had an enjoyable stay here and I highly recommend it.

Great Stay

Despite a mix-up on our first evening, this was a great stay! Home is just as advertised. Very clean. Great location with easy public transport. Felt very safe in this area. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. There are no sheets on the beds (a cultural difference), so you should bring your own if needed. Also, despite the reservation being for 3 adults, only 2 bath towels were provided. Otherwise, all was great!

Wonderful

We enjoyed our stay very much! We highly recommend this Vrbo listing. Everything was clean and cozy. I really loved the asthetics of the place, the wood and lighting and bookshelves and industrial, etc. The bed was comfortable and the washer worked fine when I did a small load of laundry. The neighborhood directly surrounding (the view out the window) isn't particularly beautiful (city streets), but the location is good for catching a taxi. The location is sort of in the middle of Seoul, so it's not too far to the airport and not too far to Lotte World or other things across Han River. Vrbo lists breakfast under amenities, and the owner apologized and let us know that the breakfast was no longer offered. That was okay with us, just a heads up for future folks who stay here. Whenever we communicated with the owner, Yoon was always polite and courteous. Again, we recommend this listing!

We enjoyed our stay at the Karezip. Great location, accessible to markets, banks, transportation (bus and subway), restaurants, etc. Couple of things we were disappointed in were that we had 4 adults staying at the apartment but we were only provided bath towels enough for two adults. We also didn't have enough dishes for all 4 adults. We did not get our checkin information before we arrived. The information that was previously sent was a sample and we didn't know this. We were lucky we had local Korean family members who traveled with us to the apartment they were able to call the owner and get the code for the building and find out what room we were in. We weren't provided our internet information until we had been there for 3-4 days as well. Owner said his internet wasn't working. I was assured that internet in Korea was fast. That part of the experience was frustrating. We had been doing laundry daily and hanging it up on the roof, we didn't know that the cleaning lady also uses that area when she is cleaning apartments after someone departs the facility, she chased us away one day when we went to hang laundry. All in all we would recommend this facility to others.

Small unit with perfect amenities for group of 3

Unit is clean and well accommodated to use as a home base and explore Seoul. Walking distance or a short bus ride/taxi to two subway stops unlocking the rest of the city. Would recommend for a small group of 3!
