Enjoy the cozy with a comfy day bed for extra sleeping space. Stay warm in the winter with heated slate floor, Smart TV, WiFi, Walls have both red and red cedar toung & groove wood panels. With 1/2 Cedar log door and window trim. White Toung & Groove Aspen wooded ceiling. Also, 5 oversized 5 bladed bi-directional 3 speed ceiling fans. So, for boat users included are 2 boat docks, Free DNR boat launch located 1.5 miles up Long Lake Rd. Cast a fishing line for Bass, Perch, Pike and Walleye fishing. Includes a fire pit and other terrific amenities, your stay will be amazing. This home will provide you experience everything water front living has to offer in Northeastern lower Michigan. The property itself was great! Clean and the beds were comfortable. The owner of the property, while he was friendly, he was a little creepy. He consistently was at the house, like everytime we went outside he was there and was very intrusive on our stay. Thankfully we had a lot of activities planned so we basically just slept there but he definitely made us feel uncomfortable.

I was in town just for one night when I came across this listing. It’s a simple two-bedroom fishing cottage right on the water, which could be ideal for anyone looking to spend their time fishing or being out on the water. The place is a little older and dated, and while I felt it could use a deeper clean, I can see this being a good fit for a small group with fishing as the main priority. Also, while there are plenty of ceiling fans, there is no AC, which could be an issue on hotter days.

Home Away from Home

Very peaceful location and accessible to town. It was slightly a distance from my workplace the first week but perfect on the second week since we changed location. Mr. Freddy is a great host and is always available to help. I missed the cottage the first two days but he guided me back to the right path. I’m very thankful for this safe, quiet accommodation. I wish I could have enjoyed the surroundings more but I was too busy with work so it’s nice to come back into a peaceful space at the end of a long day.
