I wish I could give a higher rating than 5 stars Excellent. The property was clean and perfect at check-in. Great location for AirVenture, short walk to the Wittman Air Terminal where the EAA shuttle runs until 11pm. Also close to many restaurants and pubs. The best part was the host. She made sure everything was clean and in working order. Communication was quick and responsive for every question I had. Absolutely the best VRBO rental I have ever done. Hope to do it again in the future.

Originally from New York, my blue heeler, Max, and I moved to the Oshkosh area in 2024. I've fallen head-over-heels for the Midwest and its unique culture, and. can't imagine living elsewhere. As an aviation enthusiast, this is the perfect city for me and I am excited to share it with anyone who comes.

Why they chose this property

After a year of renting in this neighborhood I knew I would never be able to leave the planes behind. There is always someone in the air and the occasional thrill of a jet is my favorite. In the Friday and Saturday before AirVenture of my first year, it was an awesome to watch the small planes come in, tail-to-tail, in a never-ending stream. When this perfect, little cottage became available it was a dream to put down permanent roots.

What makes this property unique

The close proximity to Wittman Regional Airport and walking distance to AirVenture is a huge bonus for any aviation enthusiast who needs a place to call home for the week. Even if you miss a day at the runway, you will be kept company by daily flyovers from the quiet comfort of a spacious backyard. anything! The advantage of a house that is lived in year-round means you don't leave the comforts of home behind while you're away.
