This worked out OK for our group of adults visiting family for the holidays. Very clean. Neighborhood OK if a bit dilapidated. Showers and kitchen fixtures had (scalding) hot and cold reversed: really a safety issue in shower. This is a second third floor rental; listing did not describe that. High rise on porch steps and narrow tread on way to main floor could be a problem for older guests.Biggest issue was parking: we were sharing a single width driveway with the people downstairs and different schedules meant moving cars, which could be a lot. On street parking was technically illegal overnight (signs read: "no parking 2 - 6 AM" ) Owner quickly replied that it's not enforced, but many of us were not comfortable with that. in the morning, the only ticketed car we noticed looked abandoned with a flat tire and _two_ tickets, so guess towing is rare. But with 9 people we had more cars than would fit if we had the whole driveway. Next VRBO I'll ask more about parking, but listing gave us no clue about the situation with this property. From the writeup we did not expect others on the property (downstairs). Both bedrooms 1 & 2 were lacking closet rods and shelves despite hardware already being there to support them. That was an easy to fix inconvenience.TVs everywhere nice touches in this clearly older but fixed up place. Lots of gathering space.While a pretty good value, we'd have looked harder at other offerings if we'd known about the parking situation.
