We arrived at check-in time, 3. Owner had not sent dose so I messaged her. Messages again at 4. At 4:15 I called VRBO to get resolution. When owner was contacted she said I just sent. Arrived at rental around 5. Turned on furnace, rental was 50 degrees. Waits 30 minutes for furnace to blow warm air. Never did. Contacted owner, was told the propane is not connected she didn’t anticipate cool weather. Without propane we had no way to shower or wash dishes. Sent her husband to connect propane. We never did warm up. We’re miserable all night. No blankets on bed. Sheets had stains or weren’t clean. Had to gather throws to try and stay warm. Fridge had half drank sodas, coffee creamer, water and sweet tea in it when we arrived. Finally next day the camper got warm enough to tolerate. My husband has Alzheimer’s. Hick-ups are a MAJOR ordeal with him.
