The Kitchen is beautiful and well appointed for any cooking needs. There are plenty of sleeping spaces with ample closet room. The host was very accommodating and responded very quickly and helpfully to any request. Our only concern was that the lower floors were cold and drafty in the cold weather, an unfortunate challenge for older multilevel homes. We would still happily recommend this home to others.

Impressive property and well mainitained. Appeared to be recently remodeled with a little bit left to finish up. However, it is a beatiful place with close proximity to downtown and the lake front. Parking is a little akward, but we knew that when we rented this place. We would definitely stay again for a long weekend to experience all that Milwaukee has to offer. Thank you for the wonderful place to spend a night.

the place hit all our needs and more. so much space for everyone to do their own thing and not feel cramped. the kitchen had every amenity you could ever need. blender, large and small, air fryer, rice cooker. you name it, it was there. the dining room table fit everyone in our group easily. there was a tv in every room. the kids were so happy to game on the 80 inch tv downstairs. (they did bring their own gaming console) anytime i had a question or want it was answered immediately and i was so happy. it was abnormally warm one day for october and i asked if she could change the temperature on the nest and it was done in less than 2 minutes… that’s crazy attention to guest needs. i felt very valued and taken care of the whole time

Our family has lived in the Milwaukee area since 2018. We love hosting parties and entertaining our family and friends. We also enjoy spending time exploring our beautiful city, finding new restaurants and hidden gems.

Why they chose this property

Brewers Hill is such a fabulous neighborhood. We often were in the area because our favorite brewery, Lakefront is nearby! We'd often find ourselves on the Riverwalk just blocks from Brewers Hill and we'd admire all the beautiful homes in the neighborhood. We saw an opportunity to make this house a beautiful home.

What makes this property unique

This house has all the modern amenities despite being a home built in 1888! We designed the kitchen with hosting our guests in mind. The chefs kitchen is my favorite spot in the house. Our guests have really enjoyed the basement space, super comfortable beds, the oversized church pew and dining table and the outdoor patio. Our guests have also mentioned that despite being downtown, the home is especially quiet and peaceful! Enjoy a good night's sleep with blackout curtains, 12" memory foam beds, just the right bed size and a quiet interior.
