About this property
Camp Bay Estate | North Idaho’s Most Exclusive Luxury Retreat
There are getaways, and then there are places that become part of your story. Camp Bay Estate is one of the most prestigious and private vacation homes in North Idaho—an exquisite lakeside retreat where time slows, the senses awaken, and every detail is designed for those who appreciate the extraordinary.
Tucked behind the gates of the exclusive Camp Bay community, this newly built estate rests quietly along the shores of Lake Pend Oreille, surrounded by forested hills and sweeping mountain views. Mornings begin with coffee on the dock as mist lifts from the lake. Days are spent boating, paddle boarding, or simply lounging in the sun with eagles soaring overhead. Evenings unfold around the lakeside firepit or soaking in the private hot tub under a canopy of stars. The experience is luxurious, deeply restorative, and entirely your own.
Inside, rustic elegance meets modern sophistication. Reclaimed barn wood, Montana stone, and soaring ceilings create a warm yet refined atmosphere. The open-concept great room invites connection, flowing into a chef’s kitchen with Wolf appliances, dual copper sinks, and a generous walk-in pantry. Slide open the glass accordion doors and let the outdoors in—whether you're gathering at the 12-person dining table or sharing wine and conversation on the patio as the sun dips behind the peaks.
The main-level primary suite is a sanctuary with a King bed and spa-inspired bath, including a soaking tub and glass walk-in shower. Downstairs, four beautifully designed bedrooms ensure privacy and comfort for every guest. Three feature King beds and en suite baths, one with a King bed and two elevated Twin XL bunks for added flexibility. The fourth is a stunning bunk room with four built-in Queen beds, ideal for children, cousins, or friends staying up late and sleeping in.
The lower-level lounge is perfect for unwinding after a day on the water, with a wet bar, gas fireplace, and walk-out access to the lakefront patio. The hot tub is meticulously maintained—drained, sanitized, and refilled before every stay to guarantee a pristine soak.
Outside, the estate’s 1,500-square-foot private dock includes two covered boat lifts (6,000 lb and 8,000 lb), and ample space for lakeside lounging or launching your next adventure. Guests can also explore Camp Bay’s private trail system that winds through tall cedars and hidden forest paths.
Camp Bay Estate is made for every season: summer days on the water, golden fall hikes, cozy winter escapes with nearby access to Schweitzer Mountain Resort, and spring strolls through blooming wilderness. Whatever the time of year, our dedicated concierge team is available to help elevate your stay—whether it’s grocery delivery, a private chef, an in-home massage, or sunrise yoga on the dock.
Additional features include high-speed WiFi, a fully equipped home office with monitor and desk, and accommodations for up to two well-behaved dogs (with pet fee). Though it feels a world apart, the estate is just 30 minutes from the restaurants, galleries, and charm of downtown Sandpoint. A large garage also provides EV charging.
Camp Bay Estate isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to come alive. Welcome to North Idaho’s most exclusive escape.
Please Note:
Beginning each year on September 18 (or the third Sunday of September, whichever is later), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers begins lowering Lake Pend Oreille by 10–12 feet. By late September, all docks and boat lifts become unusable. The lake typically returns to full pool by mid-to-late June (guaranteed by July 4).
A Ring doorbell camera is located at the front entrance for security purposes.
