Perfect location for a quiet getaway. The dining and front patio are perfect for groups. We would stay here again.

PROS - Proximity to state parks, caverns, waterfall, etc was incredible!! Mattress in main bedroom was really comfortable. Plenty of counter space for food prep and nice oven. Room sizes were good.CONS - Plumbing was not good, shower made a horrible sound while in use and was filling up with water requiring periodic breaks to allow it to drain. Washing machine did not work as we found out after running a full load of towels that the water was not turned on. Turned the water on and there were leaks everywhere we turned it back off immediately as it was inoperable!The bunk beds had candy wrappers under the covers. The floors were filthy under the furniture which was clearly visible. There were wasps dead and alive, inside and outside all over the place and the host offered to bring spray as if we are pest control. I do not want to fight stinging insects on my vacation the moment we arrive. The entry process required us to go around back of the through knee high grass every time we came back to the house... even at night making us be very careful of snakes we could not see. The freezer had yellow stuff in the ice making that unusable. Check in was rough because VRBO is app based and without wifi we had emergency cell service only and needed to drive 12 miles to reestablich cell service just to message the seller on how to actually get into the house as no instructions were sent prior to check in time. For the price we paid we were very unhappy!
