We had a wonderful week at this house! It was my husband and Me, our 3 month old, and our dog. The house was well stocked with kitchen basics, bath towels, lake towels, soaps, and grill. The lakefront access, fenced in yard, and gated deck were amazing for us as a family especially with our dog. He was off leash all week and we all lived outside from wake up to bedtime. The dock was safe, water was cool, and we laid on lawn chairs all day. We would definitely stay here again - no complaints! Owner was super responsive to questions and has seamless check in / out. Close to town and wineries if you want to explore!
The only con is no AC as it was warm during the nights, however, the house had many box fans in each room to help.
We had a great time at this property! The large wrap around porch was nicely fenced in so our dog and 16 month old granddaughter could safely be contained. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. This place had a ton of charming character. It was hot for many of the nights we were there but there were fans in every room.
The owner Julia was very responsive and accommodating. We had a nice week at the Lake House.

Our family spent a week at this lovely cottage. Grown children, infant and dogs enjoyed the comfortable house and wonderful front porch. The owner was readily available at any time.
We had an amazing week on the lake, with everything we could have needed and more in this charming old lake home. The home was the perfect size, with a huge front porch for relaxing and a huge dining room for dinners and game nights. The home had everything you would need to entertain and the hosts were very gracious and welcoming. Highly recommend this home for a family vacation .

PERFECT
We had a wonderful week at a perfect cottage. The porch provided the perfect setting for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We had the entire family around the dining room table (10 adults and two children). It could not have been nicer. Thank you Julie!

Nice Lakefront Cottage with Great Porch
This house had everything that we needed. Master bedroom upstairs overlooked the lake. Bedrooms for everybody. Don't need to bring anything as owner had thought of everything. We ate all of our meals on the porch, breakfast through dinner (inside dining room very large if want to eat in). Grilled out a couple of times. Nice eating outside with the covered porch overlooking the lake. Tied up our pontoon boat to the dock - very convenient. House also located within walking distance of local marina. Running/bicycle trail also across street.

So relaxing!
Six of us -- a family of 5 with three older boys, my husband, me and the boys' uncle, thoroughly enjoyed this cottage. As one reviewer wrote, if you want granite countertops and modern accoutrements, this may not be for you. But we were charmed by the comfort, the nooks and crannies, the history, the kitchen and dining areas that made me feel I'd entered a world where many a happy family spent their time. Bedrooms with sinks in the corner! A wrap-around porch you could not set foot on without wanting to sit down with a good book and a glass of wine. All of us fought for naps on the hammock. The sidewalk that runs up and down a long length of the lake became an evening walk tradition. And best of all is Julia, the owner, who readily shares information about places to see in the area, and is very responsive to questions. The whole thing felt like a real getaway.

Amazing house...like a movie set
My family has rented this house for a week for the past two summers and it is simply incredible. It's a true lake house, with an amazing porch, a huge lawn for frisbee throwing and a swim dock into the lake. The house is wonderful with large bedrooms, lovely art and a huge dining room table for family meals and game playing. The owner is absolutely lovely and someone we now count as a friend. If you want granite countertops and stainless steel everything, this is not your spot. If you want to stay in a home that feels like it's been loved by your family for generations, this is it. We love everything about it. Look for the messages written by "summer staff" from the 20’s written on the walls of the maids room off the kitchen. This house is a treasure.

What makes this property unique
Lake view from the large porch. Great place to watch the beautiful sunsets, or relax after a day on the lake.
