About the host
Hosted by Rebecca Darden-Perry

Hi, I’m Dr. Darden-Perry—a proud North Carolina native with a passion for special education. I enjoy researching and presenting on ways to better support students with diverse learning needs. In my free time, I find balance and joy through yoga. I’m glad you’re here and hope you feel welcomed and at ease during your stay.
Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood for its peaceful charm and the beautiful view of a quiet pond that sometimes welcomes ducks. This was the first home I ever owned, and it holds special memories—I raised my three boys here. I love that the homes aren’t too close together, giving a sense of space and privacy, while still being part of a family-oriented community.
What makes this property unique
What makes my property unique is its cheerful yellow exterior with blue shutters, set on an elevated lot that gives it a beautiful presence in the neighborhood. The wraparound porch is one of the few like it in the area, offering a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and pond view.
