This Foundry townhouse is a Bostonian style 3 level home located in Old Town Key West. This home has been recently renovated to accommodate an individual couple, family, or vacationing couples that each desires the privacy of their own bedroom suite with full, private baths. This two bedroom, two and one half unit will comfortably sleep up to six is located in the beautiful community of Truman Annex. This gated community offers the security and tranquility that you would expect on a vacation, yet you are just steps from exploring all that Key West has to offer. Location, location, will be neighbors with the Harry Truman Little White House where President Truman spent many summer days vacationing during his Presidency. The famous Duval Street scene and surrounding blocks encompassing hundreds of restaurants/pubs/shops are only minutes away by foot. Mallory Square, with its nightly entertainment and picturesque sunsets which make Key West a popular destination are just three blocks away. Swimming, snorkeling, parasailing, fishing, and the heated pool are nearby for your enjoyment. Fort Zachary Taylor State Park and one of the best beaches in Key West are just 1/4 mile away. Bicycle and golf cart rentals are aplenty as there is no need for a car. If driving down the scenic Florida keys and keeping the vehicle for your stay, you have the luxury of a reserved, private parking space during your stay. The first floor features a comfortable living room with 60 inch HDTV, sleeper sofa,and half bath. The impeccably appointed kitchen has all housewares items such as pots, pans, and towels. Cable service and high speed wireless internet are available on each floor. The second floor Master Suite has king sized bed, 40 inch HDTV, ensuite bath and french doors that open to private balcony overlooking the tropical landscaping on Front Street. The hallway has a washer/dryer. The third floor suite features two twin beds which can be converted to king size bed depending on your needs. Private ensuite bath and large windows overlooking Front Street as well as a 32 inch HDTV complete this relaxing room. Whether this is your first visit to Key West, or returning for your 'Latitude Adjustment', this newly renovated home at The Foundry in Truman Annex is just what the doctor ordered!

Great House / Great Location

This house is very comfortable and perfectly located in the beautiful Truman Annex. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The linens and towels are very good quality. The only shortcoming is that there are no baking pans but that was remedied with a trip to Fausto's Food Palace for disposables.

Our stay was not long enough. Although the AC died on our second to last day the management company was VERY quick to acknowledge the issue and move us next door to a like unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been visiting Key West for many years and enjoy staying at different places. Latitude Adjustment is the best one we have stayed at in the Truman Annex. The kids loved the third floor room as kind of a place to their own and weren't bothered by us parents "conversing" downstairs. It is clean and well maintained just like the pictures show, albeit the pics make it look a little larger than it is. I'd like to note that another review stated that there were no beach chairs, but three are actually in the closet under the stairs. If I had a few wishes it would be an outdoor grill, a little more private outdoor space (all front porch decks are close to each other at this building), a K cup coffee maker instead of a pot and a larger pool for this building (the pool is small). Despite these things, I would still stay here again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The neighborhood was beautiful and the townhouse was clean but in need of some minor repairs. When I called in the repairs the office incorrectly communicated to the maintenance man that the unit was empty so he just walked in and when we told him it was ok he was very reluctant to fix what needed fixing. Ultimately we told him he could come back a little later because he seemed so distraught with encountering guests. He never came back during our stay. The kitchen was minimally stocked. There were some things that I consider basics that were not available in the kitchen. Overall, not the best rental I’ve had in Florida especially taking into account the steep price point of the area.

We where within walking distance from the southern most point and the Hemingway House to Malery Square and everything in-between. My boyfriend and I have vacationed in KW in December for the last 9 years. Our guests had to go in April so we gave it a try. The weather was amazing. Sunny everyday temperatures ranged from 78 to 86 with a beautiful breeze. So many great restaurants, and we can't ever miss Latitudes on Sunset Key. I highly recommend compass realty for both Truman Annex and The Shipyard.

Reviewer Comments: Great location and wonderful property.We have stayed in this exact unit twice now.Some general maintenance could be done here though.Air conditioner blower is very noisy, toilet tank on first floor seemed to run for a long time before finally stopping. Bed mattresses are hard.Other than those small items we love the location, and the properties within the Annex are beautiful and very well kept.I have already recommended to multiple people to stay in the Annex.Thank You.

It was great having the 2 large bedrooms with each having their own bathroom as well as a half bath on the main floor. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen had all of the necessities. The only improvement I would highly suggest is the couch was very broke down & in need of replacement. Working with Compass staff was an excellent experience. Definitely highly recommend this home. Actually, we would like to know the make/model of the King mattress in the master bedroom to look into purchasing for our own home.

Perfect location in Key West

We had a fabulous stay at this property. You can’t beat the location of the Truman Annex. Property was close to all the shops in Mallory Square and we watched the gorgeous sunset just about every night from the pier which was a quick 5 minute walk. The unit was spotless and check in and out was a breeze. We will definitely be back!

We had a package sent to their office we planned to pick up. When we arrived in our townhouse they had delivered our package there. The townhouse was comfortable and spotless.We needed a late checkout and they made that happen. They have a company that will store your bags at the airport if checking out early. Anything you need they're willing to help with. Compass does everything possible to make your trip perfect.Our next trip will be booked with them.

Key West condo

Our stay was pleasant. The condo has been used hard. There was a door knob missing on the laundry room, no baking pans or oven mittens and limited washcloths. The condo was clean and organized and a good space for a nice visit in Key West. The location is fabulous.

Perfect location

Lattitude Adjustment was exactly what we were looking for during our trip to Key West! It is in the perfect location to walk or bike to all the fun places to see! The condo was clean and had everything we needed during our stay. The ladies at Compass Realty were easy to communicate with and made check in/ out a breeze. We will be staying here again!
