Hillside Retreat is a one-of-a-kind urban retreat in popular Hardin Valley. Perched on a hill and tucked away on beautifully wooded acreage, you truly feel you're away from it all--but you're not! Everything is close by. Secluded yet convenient.

There are two levels, each with its own living area, kitchen and sleeping quarters. The upper level has a new, 12x32 deck which is perfect for gathering with friends, family or group getaways. There is also a smaller deck in the back, a porch just outside the lower level living area and a fire pit; so plenty of places to spread out. An outdoor shed houses extra chairs for the fire pit and several outdoor games for your use. High speed 1-Gig internet with fast upload and download speeds is provided. Hillside Retreat is easily accessible to major roads, including Pellissippi Pkwy and Interstate 40, the main thoroughfare through Knoxville. Multiple restaurants and fast food places, such as Chick-fil-A, McDonalds, Domino`s Pizza, Salsaritas, Double Dogs, Food City grocery store and more are about 4 miles away. Only 10 minutes to Turkey Creek! Tons of shopping and restaurants.

The entire house is for your use during your stay with the exception of one owner's closet in the upstairs bedroom. Make yourself at home!

Please note the main driveway up the hill is shared with our neighbor. Be careful not to block. Please do not drive or park on the grass.

Limit the number of cars on the lower driveway to 4. Use the upper gravel driveway for regular parking or overflow.

If firewood for the fire pit is present at the time of your stay, feel free to use it. Firewood can be purchased at nearby retail stores, such as Walmart & Food City.

If you use the outdoor games, please place them back in the shed overnight so they don't get exposed to rain or animals.

This area is home to lots of wildlife. Our lot is partially wooded and we are adjacent to a 22 acre wooded lot. You may see deer, raccoons, wild turkeys, large owls and other birds of prey. Keep an eye on smaller dogs when outside as owls can lift 2-3 times their body weight, so dogs up to 10 pounds are vulnerable.
