The Outpost - Cloud City Suite (1 BR)

The Cloud City Suite is a light-filled studio tucked in the heart of downtown Crested Butte, perfect for the independent traveler or adventurous couple. This private-entry suite is compact yet thoughtfully designed, with everything you need for a comfortable mountain stay and nothing you don’t.

Inside, you’ll find a plush king bed, steam shower, kitchenette with fridge and microwave, dishes and basics, a small table for dining or writing which doubles as your remote office or grab and go breakfast spot! The space is simple, calming, and filled with natural light—ideal for guests who value a good night’s rest after big days on the trail.

Cloud City is one of three suites at The Outpost, a boutique lodge designed for travelers who love both independence and community. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared Floresta Lounge, stocked with books and games, as well as cruiser bikes and gear storage. Step out your door and stroll to coffee, dinner, or your next adventure—no car required.
Welcome to The Outpost — we’re thrilled to host you in our brand-new mountain retreat in the heart of Crested Butte. PLEASE NOTE: A rental agreement will be emailed along with your reservation confirmation. You MUST complete the agreement 48 hours minimum prior to check-in. If we do not receive your completed rental agreement, your reservation will be subject to cancellation.

To ensure a comfortable experience for all guests and to maintain the quality of our boutique property and neighborhood, please review the following:

1. No Pets
We love animals, but this property is strictly pet-free to maintain cleanliness and accommodate guests with allergies.

2. No Smoking or Vaping
Smoking, vaping, or the use of any tobacco or cannabis products is not permitted inside the property or on the property.

3. No Parties or Events
The Outpost is located in a residential area. Parties, events, or outside guests are not allowed unless prior written authorization is provided by property manager. Please respect our neighbors and the peaceful nature of this community.

4. Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Please keep noise to a minimum during these hours, both indoors and outside.

5. Maximum Sleeping Occupancy: 2 Guests
Only registered guests may stay overnight. The maximum occupancy is strictly enforced.

6. Parking
Use designated parking spots only. Please do not block neighbors’ driveways or park on the street overnight.

10. Check-Out by 10:00 AM
Our cleaners arrive promptly at 10:00 AM. Please leave the property tidy and follow the checkout instructions provided in your welcome guide.

11. Damage Deposit
Please note, you will be required to pay a fully refundable damage deposit a few days prior to your stay. Failure to pay the deposit may result in cancellation. Rest assured, we will provide you with plenty of time and notice to process payment.
