Spring Break

Overall the condo was great. Way bigger than I expected it to be and lots of space to just hang out and relax. Had everything we needed for the week. Beach towels, beach chairs and beach umbrella. The beach is a very short walk from the condo and is never crowded. We loved walking and picking and seashells. Water was a little cold but my girls still got in the ocean. We did not go to the quiet pool but spent most of our time at the grill/kids pool. It was great to have food and a bar right there. Everything was clean except the rug in the living room, cleaners must have missed it as we found peanuts scattered all around in it. Nice area and very safe and lots of walking and biking trails. Grocery store is a short drive. Went to Flagler beach a few times for dinner and spent a day in St. Augustine.

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to call maintenance 3 times within the first two days of arrival. Twice for smoke alarm issues one for a fan issue in MB. When the 2nd smoke alarm went off I was told by the mgmt. co. that they couldn't get someone there till the next morning. Listened to smoke alarm going off for 17 hours! I was very close to calling the fire department out of concern for my safety. This was a dangerous situation! How would I know if there was an actual fire without having a properly working smoke alarm!!! I was also told by the management co. that I should get up there and unplug the smoke detector myself!!!!! The outdoor furniture very rusty, patio was filthy, paint cans in b/r closet, horrible linens/bed pillows (only one set of sheets for MB), horrible pitted pans for cooking, tupperware needs to be replaced, sofa needs to be replaced-was shedding feathers/sunk almost to floor when you sat on it, dining room table very very shaky-afraid to sit there to eat, no parking passes for guests (even though I was allowed two spots). I took pictures of everything that I mentioned and will gladly forward them to you if you want them. Also my opinion of Florida Vacay Rentals is that they are a very poor management co. I've always used VRBO for ALL of my travel needs and never have I ever experienced anything like this. As a matter of fact I am a preferred guest with other owners. For what I paid for this condo and the experience that I had it is a travesty. I am a frequent visitor to the Palm Coast area and I will not rent this condo again or ever, ever use anyone who has Florida Vacay Rentals as their management company. I look forward to hearing from you regarding my comments.

Excellent accomodations

Just a short walk across the parking area to the beach or pools. There are two pools( one for adults!). The condo was exceptionally decorated for those who love color and beautiful works of art. The beds slept very comfortably and the kitchen was well stocked. The balcony overlooking the lake was my favorite area!

PINCH ME – THIS MUST BE HEAVEN

This 3/BR condo is fantastic! 5 STARS in every respect. We stayed for a month this winter and will stay again next year. • Located in the luxurious gated community of Hammock Dunes: half-way between Daytona Beach and St. Augustine on world famous A1A. • The condo is spotlessly clean, totally equipped and beautifully decorated with amazing artwork. The on-line description and photos are spot-on. Shopping is close by, but a car is required. Food and Amazon can deliver. • Walk to two community swimming pool areas and a fully equipped gym: an ocean-view adult pool on the beach dune, and a family friendly pool and snack bar across the street on the lagoon. Miles of white sand beach and Atlantic waves are just a couple of hundred yards across the dunes. The beach can be a bit rocky, but still very swimmable and a lovely way to get some outdoor exercise. • On warm days the lagoon view from the 4th floor balcony offers alligator and bird watching, not to mention great star viewing at night. • The unit includes inside parking, luggage/grocery trolleys, elevator, security, and friendly neighbors. • Safe bike paths abound so, bring your bicycle, or rent one. There is much to be seen from a bike. • The rental estate agents are completely available and instantly ready to help. • We can’t wait to return.

Cinnamon Beach Condominiums

The condo and beach were great. People should know that when they choose this unit, the rental is NOT through VRBO but through Florida Vacay Rentals. This is important since Florida Vacay is NOT responsive to maintenance requests. Our ceiling fan was not working and the TV was not coming on. We called Florida Vacay on the day we checked in to ask for repair.. One day later I was able to get the TV to work, with no effort by Florida Vacay . As for the ceiling fan, I stopped calling after three more calls. Nothing had been done by the time we left, two weeks later. One thing Florida Vacay Rentals is very good at is telling you what you can't do: Restrict the temperatures for A/C, keep all windows and sliding doors closed, and they were extremely prompt when telling us our rental period was up. That along with a fairly extensive list of what you have to do on check out (wash dry and fold beach towels, empty all trash, bed linen laundry limited by number of people renting the condo, wash all dishes). You can almost hear them say "and don't let the door in you on your way out...".

Super cute & spacious condo 5 min walk to beach!

I had never been to the palm coast before and the entrance to the condo was such a beautiful drive in and then once you step inside the condo I was more than pleased with how spacious it was and wonderfully decorated! The balcony also had a great view and it’s only a 5 min walk or less to the beach as well. I loved the little clubhouse and pool across that which was also just a 5 min walk. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone!!

Luxurious and Relaxing!

Driving into the property is absolutely breathtaking, it's Old Florida at it's finest. When we opened the door to the unit, I knew I was going to enjoy it. The feeling I had was total relaxation. The decor and finishes are like a luxury hotel. The art work is beautiful, the couch was comfortable and the beds were fabulous. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and having our coffee, with the view over the lake and the houses beyond. The kitchen is very well equipped and made it easy to prepare our meals. The oceanside pool is beautiful, with plenty of lounge chairs to sit and relax, then take a walk down the beach and come back for a dip in the pool. We even walked across the street to the lakeside pool and got a drink at the bar and grill, so convenient, next time we will have lunch. Don't miss taking the short drive to Flagler Beach! We had so much fun at happy hour at a few of the local restaurants, enjoying watching the surfers and taking in the sea breeze. We definitely will come back to this little gem and next time we will bring the grandkids.

Beautiful Get Away!

This condo is very spacious. The decor is beautiful and the master features a nice jacuzzi tub. The view overlooking the balcony was very nice and the balcony was a quiet place to eat breakfast. The resort the condo lies within is a private community that features a gate with a guard, a pool, and a hot tub.

Gorgeous condo!

I stayed at this condo with a group of my friends for a weekend getaway and we were blown away by how beautiful the condo and property was! Everything in the condo was updated and spotless. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed to cook multiple meals and there was even beach supplies in the storage area! We loved hanging by the pool/hot tub and enjoyed having a bar and grill right next door. The staff was very friendly and easy to work with. We will definitely be back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a fantastic stay over spring Break at Cinnamon Beach in Ocean Hammock. The condo unit was on the 4th floor, had a nice large living room area, great outdoor balcony with lots of seating, large kitchen, and the three bedrooms were very spacious and ample storage space.Loved the storage unit downstairs where my kids had stuff to use at the cooler was there as was mentioned, however, I added to the storage unit and left one for the next renters. My only issue was figuring out the clickers and tv's and getting them to work.Finally got it figured out, and no problems. Tons of towels, beach towels, kitchen appliances/dishes/sliverware, etc. A big plus. The pools and beach phenomenal. Always had chairs to use. The grill/bar is very slow service. However, you can bring your own food and drink to the pools/beach. Florida Vacay Rentals were awesome and a pleasure to work with and I hope to rent from them again.

Cinnamon Beach at Ocean Hammock

This rental was awesome! It was just redone and I was the first one in to use. Very large living area (with plenty of seating, large kitchen (with all brand new appliances, tons of silverware, everything you need in a kitchen was there. Never had so much in a rental before). Great dining area (seats 8). Nice balcony with view of lake and plenty of seating to have meals or drinks out there. Bedrooms (3) were large and spacious with plenty of room to put clothes and things in. master bath was very large, second bath was smaller, but fine. Had issues with figuring out tv remotes and how to work with tv's, but once figured out, it was fine. Plenty of towels and beach towels to use. Two pools to use and lots of beach access throughout the complex. If you use the grill/bar, just know they are very slow service. However, a plus, you can take your own coolers and food to beach and pool. Lots of seating, always had a chair. The Storage unit on the first floor had sand toys, boogie boards, and beach chairs (2) to use. No cooler, but there is one there now as I left mine and added to the extras to use. Florida Vacay Rentals supplied any information needed for things to do or places to eat, and were available for questions, or any issues that came up. They were very responsive. I would highly recommend this rental.
