"My family has renting cabins From Smoky Mountain Secluded Cabins & the Tisch family for about 15 years.
We never have to worry about the cabins we rent. They are always very clean and stocked. They have perfect views for whatever we have chosen whether to stay in the valley or on the mountain.
That takes a great weight off of us when planning vacations because our cabin is always exactly as described.
And if there is ever an issue, they are just a phone call away and quick to respond. thanks for another great stay.

Our cabin is on two levels - each with more than adequate parking - and only 1 step up to the deck!
* Main Level features the living room, dining room, kitchen as well as 2 king bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Additional sleeping is available via a sleeper sofa in the living room and a futon in the master bedroom.
* Lower Level features the game room with a family area and wet bar. There are 3 king bedrooms and 1 queen bedroom. 3 full bathrooms.

Awesome Stay

We stayed at this beautiful home for our daughter's wedding at Dancing Bear. Such an amazing stay - very well maintained and clean. The views are absolutely amazing and the location is perfect!

Wonderful cabin for large families

This cabin has one of the best views! We enjoyed sitting on the patio and just enjoying it. The size of the property was great for our 10 people. It’s within a few miles of Pigeon Forge where there is so much to do for all ages. I highly recommend this property!!

Amazing.

This home was perfect. All the rooms were a good size. Almost every bedroom had its own bathroom. The house was clean, the view was phenomenal. The wildlife was a bonus and the location was perfect!!

Our multi generational family takes a trip once a year. This property perfectly accommodated all our needs. Plenty of dining space. No steps to the fire pit. Views for days. Comfortable beds and furniture. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Celebrating 60 years

Our stay was absolutely beautiful. The place is just as described. It’s all about the view of the mountains. The privacy and the solitude it offers for just you and your group. I hope to return again and stay longer next time. Kudos to the owners. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing!

What a deal, the cabin was excellent and the views were spectacular. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had everything we needed and more. The price was very reasonable for what you get. The only downside was we had to leave a day early. Not the property or managers fault. A bad snowstorm was starting and the manager recommended we leave early because we could be stuck there for awhile. It was good advice.

A wonderful getaway!

This property was amazing! We loved everything about it…there was plenty of space, it was very clean, and the view is beautiful. We really appreciated all the little things the house had, including the toiletries in the bathrooms, all the dishes/glasses in the kitchen, and the TVs were easy to operate! Loved the pool table, the downstairs bar, and the hot tub. This house really has it all, including a private drive. And we even saw a bear on the property during our first night! We would definitely come back and stay at this house again!

Beautiful view

Easily the best view on the mountain side. Plenty of room for the 12 people we had and great for all ages. Bathrooms needed ventilation fans because the humidity caused by showers was causing mold. Also needed some work done on some leaking gutters and the deck but definitely worth every penny. I am looking forward to coming back at some point.

Family Vacation Gathering

My husband and I and our three children and their families (8 adults and 5 children) stayed for a sampling of the Great Smoky Mountains. The place was amazing and the view was spectacular -- including the double rainbow one afternoon. We had many activity choices at our fingertips conveniently located to the cabin. The kids were in awe as we had bears visiting the yard each day. The accommodations were very comfortable and everything we needed was right there. Beautiful experience. The park was teeming with people, but our retreat.was a nice getaway from the crowds and the perfect place for us to stay!

Friends Mountain Getaway - Chicago, North Carolina and Virginia

The cabin far exceeded our expectations. Awesome experience from booking to departure. Our group consisted of 9 adults and a toddler and we had more space than we actually needed. The cabin had everything we desired; beautiful views of the mountains, seclusion, serenity, peace and quietness. The cabin was very clean and contained everything for our cooking needs. Our only disappointment was having to leave. We all wished we had at least two more days. We decided to make this a twice a year retreat, so we will return in the fall.

Great family trip!

We vacationed with our teenager, adult children and their families. Ages ranged from 9 months-50yrs and this place worked really well for our whole crew. Everyone had enough personal space as well as plenty of space to hang out, eat dinners together and relax in the common areas or on the porches. Beautiful views all around and plenty of outdoor areas and seating. Kitchen was well stocked and we loved that there was enough table seating for all of us in the dining area. We were there in late April and the days were warm but nights still got cold. The heater didn’t work one night but the owners were very quick to respond and get that fixed and we had no other issues during our stay. Lovely home all around.

The home was on top of a mountain in a gated community and was therefore very private and the property was gorgeous inside and out! Communicating with our host prompt in response and easy. Food for thought: brighter lighting would be nice throughout and replace the knives in the kitchen as they are dull. We had a professional chef among our group who utilized the kitchen for most meals we ate and the kitchen had most things needed. Everything inside and out was very clean. Each person had their own bedroom with wonderful accommodations. The view on a clear day was absolutely stunning!We will certainly return for another trip! Everything was as described and more! Thank you for your contribution to a very memorable trip with friends!

It was a beautiful view and the house was awesome and enough room for the kids to be done stairs. They played pool every night. The negatives would be sofa bed couch in livingroom was broken and was very uncomfortable to sit on. Which limited seating. The furniture on top deck was very used and uncomfortable. We didn't realize how steep the drive up was which scared my sister but kids thought was fun. Lol overall this was a great place and we had a great time!!

Amazing views

We absolutely loved staying at the property. It was clean and well kept. One of our favorites things was there was plenty of chairs on the decks where you could sit and relax while taking in the views. The owners were responsive and wonderful and it was a true retreat.

Smoky Mountain Golden Cabins specializes in secluded and private setting cabins in Wears Valley, Tn. Donn grew up on the farm and has tried his hand at several professions including working as a chef, managing a dry cleaning plant and an over the road trucker before finding his way into the vacation rental business. Margaret is originally from Ireland (part of why she so loves Wears Valley, it reminds her of home!) and she has called the United States her home since moving here in the 1980's. Margaret has owned a cleaning company in Florida, is widely known as the best mother in the whole world and has spent the last several years working in retail at one of the major box stores. Donn and Margaret have two grown son's. Our eldest son, Jerry is married to his wife Nikki and they have one son named Artie and daughter due in summer of 2019. Jerry and Nikki also own cabins they rent in Wears Valley. Our youngest son, Bobby, is soon to be moving to the area and joining us in management and maintenance of our cabins! It is our faith that directs who we are and what we believe. When it comes to our guests experience in one of our vacation properties, we hope to provide a setting of rest and peaceful relaxation. We believe that in this busy world all too often the first thing lost are those special times with family and friends. We hope guests will at some point during their stay, make a special memory that they will carry for their life time. Time is short and we are but only here for a little while - So take some time to come to the mountains, breath in that fresh mountain air and take in all the grandeur and beauty! Spend sometime on the porch in a rocker or relaxing in the hot tub and let the cares of the world pass by! At Smoky Mountain Golden Cabins we are in the business of making memories that last a life time!
