Splendid
Firstly, Linda is simply a marvelous host! Further, Bontecue farm is so beautiful and stocked with everything we could possibly need. This was the perfect place to host my moms surprise birthday party with all our family, my mom had no idea the entire family was coming and the farm setting and views were splendid. We were all able to enjoy a great respite from our daily lives and recharge in the serenity and tranquilness that is Bontecue farm. If you are thinking about staying here, I highly recommend it !! P.S. Pepacton reservoir has a scenic road along the water, that we thoroughly enjoyed.

A Perfect Sanctuary for a Perfect Thanksgiving
Our family of 8 thoroughly enjoyed this cozy and beautiful home. We loved the simple elegance of the furnishings and the effort to retain the historical character of the farmhouse. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware and niceties such as salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, saran wrap, etc. We really appreciated two living room spaces so that the younger generation could watch shows that appealed to them in a separate space while the adults hung out in a different room. The laundry machine was an added bonus since we had been on the road traveling and needed to freshen up some soiled articles. We also enjoyed watching birds along the river through the stunning big windows, walking the nearby dirt road, and taking excursions into New Paltz. We're hoping to return next year! You won't regret staying here.

Perfect fall getaway
We were immediately mesmerized by this beautiful property and charming home! Our family of 8 adults had plenty of space to gather together and also spread out as needed. Loved the picture windows overlooking the river and field! Even saw two young bald eagles (we think) perched in the trees! The full-sized beds were firm and comfortable. The large fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs was a wonderful place to congregate in the evening. Linda and Tom were extremely welcoming and helpful hosts. Our family would love to go back!
