About this property

It's like a hotel room, only better. You have a comfy bed and linens, huge closet, fantastic bathroom and large shower. There is an iron, ironing board and hairdryer in the room. The wood features like the bathroom vanity, are provided by Eastside Woodshop (from a local craftsman). Concrete floors offers a cool touch in the hot summers. You have a private entrance. (We do have a full length mirror even though it is not shown in our photos)

Great location and host!

Perfect location for foodies with great restaurants nearby and quiet streets. Ryan was a great host, gave us a rundown of the area when we arrived and suggestions which were spot on. Would definitely recommend!

The little flat ever

This was the perfect little place to stay with easy access to all UT sports events. The area was great for bicycling. The owners were very kind. We'll be back.

Great spot for Austin adventure!

Clean, comfortable, convenient! Ryan is a great host and his Eastside Flats are the perfect home base for a trip to the Austin area! Highly recomend!

Homey vibes

Great, clean, comfortable stay. They provided snacks, all soaps for the shower and an abundance of towels and kitchen supplies. Staying right in their backyard was such a unique experience.

Perfect place for an Austin stay

This flat was very clean and comfortable and is located near downtown Austin. Everything is just as described on the site. It was more private than I expected. No problems, just a great place to stay.

Hi there, I'm Ryan Rinaldi, your host here at Austin's Eastside Flats.
In a former life I was a teacher, coach, and sales executive. Now, I am a proud dad who has the opportunity to work from home and raise my son with my lovely lady, Jenny. Along with managing our flats I enjoy spending time with friends and family, woodworking and playing outside.
You'll find my woodwork throughout the flats, for example, the bathroom vanities, window treatments, barn door, the terrace and staircase.
Jenny and I love hosting guests and helping them experience our fantastic city. Let us know what we can do to make your stay wonderful.

Why they chose this property

We love hosting out-of-town friends and family, however we live in a small house. So we decided to build a guest house in our backyard. When our friends and family aren't staying in our guesthouse we have it available for visitors to Austin. Being close to The University of Texas, downtown Austin and all the sights makes Eastside Flats a perfect location to call home for a few days.
