With two serene queen bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living areas, and a lower level with four twin XL murphy beds and a ping pong table, it’s designed for high-comfort living. Thoughtful family amenities and sweeping Badlands views make it a perfect place to relax and recharge.
The space
Welcome to your perfect Badlands basecamp—a modern two-story guesthouse just minutes from downtown Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Nestled near the Bully Pulpit Golf Course and the Maah Daah Hey Trailhead, this spacious and thoughtfully designed retreat is the ideal spot to launch your Medora adventure—or simply kick back and soak up the views.
Upstairs, you’ll find two cozy queen bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen perfect for everything from morning pancakes to late-night snacks, a bright and colorful bathroom, and a sunny living room with panoramic Badlands views that stretch for miles. The open-concept layout is light and airy, with modern finishes, fun TR artwork, and just enough personality to make the space feel like home (but cooler).
The lower level is another bedroom/flex space built for both rest and play. It features four Twin XL Murphy beds that tuck away when not in use, a comfy TV area with room for everyone to relax, a ping pong table for friendly matches, and a dedicated workspace with a desk—perfect for remote work or study time. There’s also a second full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a large-capacity washer and dryer for your convenience.
Traveling with kids? We’ve got you covered. The home includes a pack-and-play crib, baby gate, high-chair, kids’ dishware, books, puzzles, and toys—all carefully tucked into the space so the home stays stylish and uncluttered. It’s designed to be both grown-up-friendly and kid-ready, whether you’re here for a week or a weekend.
What really sets this place apart are the creative touches throughout. The home features original art that celebrates the landscape, history, and a bit of quirky fun—think Teddy Roosevelt meets modern mountain lodge. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, with clean lines, cozy corners, and little surprises that make you smile.
Step outside and you’re close to everything. Medora’s charming shops, restaurants, and family-friendly attractions are just a short drive away. You’ll also be minutes from epic hiking and biking trails, scenic drives, and the wild beauty of the Badlands. Whether you’re teeing off at Bully Pulpit, spotting bison in the national park, taking in The Medora Musical, or riding bikes with the kids through town, adventure is never far.
We’ve poured a lot of love and thought into this space, and we hope you’ll feel it from the moment you walk in the door. It’s more than a place to stay—it’s a place to make memories. Whether you’re here to explore, recharge, or reconnect, our guesthouse is designed to make your stay easy, comfortable, and fun.
