Acclaimed as one of the most beautiful homes in Manteo, this historic home has been restored to a modern-day paradise. Lush greenery surrounds the property and sets the scene as you arrive at your North Carolina abode.
The professionally landscaped backyard is primed for relaxing, entertaining and all the water activities imaginable! Marvel at the Roanoke Sound from the back porch, equipped with teak dining tables and rocking chairs, or head down to the dock for a closer look. For an additional fee, you can take advantage of the home’s private dock, where you can easily access Shallow Bag Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
Outfitted with antique furnishings and tasteful decor, the charm and character of the home’s exterior extends to the interior.
Prepare the catch of the day in the well-designed kitchen, which comes fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and a large center island that doubles as an eating counter. Pull up a stool to sip a glass of wine and watch the chef work their magic, or gather around the elegant dining table set for 6 to dine all together.
Choose from 2 large dens to decompress after a day out on the water or an afternoon exploring downtown. Prepare cocktails at the wet bar in the main living room before sitting down for a game at the card table or watching a show on the flat-screen cable TV. If you can’t agree on a channel, make use of the second flat-screen cable TV in the den.
Retreat to the bedrooms once you’ve exhausted the day’s activities. Situated on its own level, the primary bedroom offers plenty of peace and privacy. Sleep soundly in the plush king-sized bed or curl up with a good book in the reading nook.
All 3 bedrooms are brightly lit with natural light and offer water views, along with full en-suite bathroom and walk-in closets.
