We've created the perfect affordable getaway, offering all the peace and tranquility of a lakeside vacation without the high-end price tag. Step inside and discover a charming two-bedroom, two-bath home that comfortably sleeps six, making it ideal for families, friends, or a quiet couple's retreat.

Relax and unwind on our spacious back deck, where you can grill up dinner and watch the sun set over the water. Our prime location puts you just minutes from all the action, whether you're heading to an Auburn game, a fishing tournament, or exploring Lake Martin. You'll also find plenty of space to park your boat, RV, or camper, making your stay a breeze. The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Check-out Time: Flexible if arranged in advance, but only if no other guests will be arriving. Otherwise, please adhere to a standard check-out time (12PM).

Kitchen: Wash dirty dishes and throw out leftover food items. Thermostats: Turn the heat or AC OFF. Lights: Turn all lights OFF with the exception of the palm tree lamp on the bar.

Security: Close blinds and lock the front and back doors when you leave.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Noise Levels: We have full-time neighbors, so please keep noise levels acceptable.

A dog MAY be arranged in advance with us. IF a dog is approved, a pet deposit is required, and they must be housebroken and pest-free.

While we really only slept here rather than got to enjoy the property, we had great communications with our host, slept like rocks and really appreciated the special gift left for us (which we forgot to take with us! ). A great place to stay!

The palms by the lake is a great place to stay for get away on Lake Martin. The house is very clean and has everything you need while staying. We were the 1st guest to stay there and will definitely be coming back again!!!

The host Shawndra was very personable and helpful when I spoke to her on the phone. The home is clean and well stocked even though we just stayed overnight and didn’t use anything. It is an older home and could definitely use some modern updates especially in the master bathroom with the tub and the sink. It needs to be totally updated. Bathtub and sink need to be replaced and new blinds throughout the home. You can definitely tell the age of the home.

The Palms by the Lake is a charming and cozy lakeside home. While it’s an older home, it has been lovingly maintained to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like a classic lake cottage. Our home comfortably sleeps up to six guests, making it ideal for families or small groups. It features two private bedrooms and a pullout sofa for extra sleeping space. The property includes a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living area, and a large back deck. You will be centrally located to all that the area has to offer. Dean Lake and Lake Martin: Our home is right on Dean Lake with easy access to the adjacent Lake Martin, a hub for fishing, boating, and all water sports. -Boon Docks at Bay Pine is the closest boat ramp, less than 3 miles away. -Lakewinds Golf Course: A highly rated public 18-hole golf course is less than a mile down the road. -Wind Creek State Park and DARE Power Park: Both are less than a 15-minute drive away, offering hiking, camping, and fishing. -Children's Harbor: A non-profit organization with a beautiful chapel, lighthouse, and family-friendly activities. -Auburn University: Just a 35-minute drive away, making our property a perfect option for game days and university events. -Local Dining: We are a short drive from numerous restaurants, from casual lakeside eateries to fine dining. -Russell Crossroads: Offering boutique shopping, a golf course, and restaurants.
