This was my 1st time in Sedona and I loved it. The room I stayed in is wonderful! The staff were friendly and helpful. The view of the mountains is incredible!
This property was everything it was listed as. It was a perfect spot for us to celebrate our 40th birthdays and a getaway from mom/wife life for the weekend. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and the property is super convenient to everywhere you go. Would definitely stay again.
Location was great. Grounds were immaculate. Unit was well equipped and clean. Perfect size for two people. Property managers were accessible and professional. Only downside was very spotty Internet service in the unit. I would stay here again.
This resort is in a great location in Sedona. Close enough to trails and just far enough from the busy upper town. Kitchen was perfect for making breakfast and lunches. Bed was very comfortable. Only downside was the unreliable wifi and no service off the wifi. Made it hard to plan for hikes the next day, but a great excuse to disconnect.
Far west side of town--not bad to drive to heart of Sedona.
Reasonably priced
Clean and beautiful and comfortable
They do try to get you to go to a timeshare presentation, just as other reviews had suggested.
Wi-Fi is really bad, as other reviews had suggested, but management tell us they are working on an upgrade.
I would stay here again.
This is, as expected, a Hilton resort property, with all expected amenities. We enjoyed the studio unit, the pool, the spa, and appreciated the responsiveness of Guest Services. It was quiet and parking was convenient. Just what we expected. Thank you.
The property is exactly as shown and described. Yes, it is small but we really didn't spend much time in the room. There is one hot tub on the property that is a magnificent place to watch the sunset.
Studio was very small and below grade. Was upgraded when did a timeshare presentation. Wonderful 1 br with a great view. Would recommend only 1br init.
This resort is so close to uptown and many hikes. We loved our trip to Sedona! We also enjoyed the hot tub that was only a few steps away from our back door and we enjoyed the nice, cute studio we stayed in . The only complaint is when I checked in I told the front desk at least 5/6 times I did not want to attend this promotion they wanted me to and they weren’t taking no as an answer, it was pretty ridiculous, but once I finally got done with them everything was great.
Location was very nice in relation to restaurants, hiking trails, etc.. Unit was clean and overall property (swimming pools, activities, etc) was quite nice. Two big issues: internet connectivity was virtually non existent in the unit which with todays technology is not acceptable. This was compounded by poor cell phone connectivity (not their fault I realize but just made things more frustrating). Also the unit pictured on the VRBO website showed a very nice view but our unit actually assigned was on on a lower level with no view at all and a somewhat musty smell to it. In fairness they did check on us after the first few days of our stay and offered to move us when we mentioned the mustiness but we declined based on the fact we only had one day left and it simply didn’t seem worthwhile.

Liked: Communication, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
Not quite what we expected
Let me start off by saying that booking the property was easy and matched up pretty well with the description. Josh was responsive when we arrived and found our room to be uncleared after carrying all of our stuff up stairs to the room. Apparently the resort missed cleaning it? We were then moved to another room, bottom floor in the middle of the resort so we had no view.
Let’s cover the rest of the bad now. We had no idea this was part of a time share situation and after checking in were sent to the concierge for “info on activities around Sedona.” Turns out this was really about trying to book us into a time share appointment at another property they have in Sedona and it was a fairly hard sell to book an appointment. Beyond that WiFi was non existent, a refrain we heard from multiple guests and pretty much the whole staff did not seem to like their jobs. We heard a few times that, “things have been bad during the transition to Hilton taking over.” Attention to detail is was poor and it was just about the little things. No pool towels, no towels in the gym, no WiFi, staff attitude etc. The room we were moved to had a shower insert that was pulling away from the wall and the bed was pretty warn out.
Now the good. The location is nice, the resort property was clean and although a bit older looking not bad. Pools and the gym were good. Hopefully once the Hilton takes over things will return to normal. Had we known that this was a time share property and we would be “sold” on going to a 2 hour time share meeting we would have stayed somewhere else.
After a four hour flight and over two hours in the car, all I wanted to do was check in and relax, but nope! Regardless of knowing I was through VRBO and showing them the email from the “owner” during check in, they still tried to sell me on sitting through a presentation. They were sneaky about it by first pulling me in with a highly discounted visit to a jeep ride company. Then saying the sales pitch, excuse me, presentation, would only be 90 mins because I was there under an “owners package” versus the 120 presentation everyone else had to endure. When I realized what was going on I was trying nicely to just get my key. The “assistant sales manager” who was no more then a college kid, then said he would just reserve my spot with a $40 deposit and I could cancel at anytime but he would be sure to call me later just to see. He certainly did call me a few hours later and when I fully rejected his pitch he was okay with it.
Once I was able to break free, things were great! No view, unless you like looking over a parking lot, parking was scarce since they had 12 spots for what I guessed was 24 units between the two buildings in this area, but the overflow was just up the way. I was located in a unit that had you had to pass housekeeping and maintenance on the way to the pool but beyond that all was good.
Most VRBOs I have stayed in have some overflow of supplies from previous renters, like Pam Spray, or spices but this unit was cleaned out between every visited. That can be a little more pricy since you have to buy every little thing, but all in all it had what it needed. Two pans, one pot, a few utensils and a coffeemaker, which they did supply filters so that was nice.
Water flow was low, but it is Arizona so maybe that was on purpose. Had to have maintenance out twice. Once to unclog the toilet, and once for a very slow draining sink, both time they were quick to come so no problems there.
And just as advised by every other guest who posted reviews… the internet is terrible. When asked, they said it was being upgraded but didn’t know how long that would take.
Property was clean and well maintained, had laundry onsite which was nice. Location was perfect for hiking and grocery shopping and was even better to avoid the weekend traffic!
All in all a great experience.
The room was nice. The bed and the couch sleeper were both very comfy.
The only issue was the fridge was not cold at all and the freezer wasn’t freezing… let the front desk know so they can take a look. Enjoyed the area and the pool too!
