Everything was petty clean, there was some dog hair around the furnitures on the floors - but I expected it, knowing it was dog friendly. The hot tub was perfect. The cabin was in the perfect location, I loved watching the sunrise on the porch each morning.

Fell in Love with Camp Runamuk

Very nice cabin that has a real feeling of camping. Very nicely decorated with lots of historical photos and info about the property. Grandkids loved the upstairs and slept in the tent up there every night. Close to Dollywood and restaurants. We will rent this property in the future.

Overall this was a great stay. It would have been more helpful to have more specific directions getting to the house, as well as, some more exterior lights upon arrival after dark. We really enjoyed the play space upstairs and the beautiful view from this location. We had hoped for firewood, but we had to go into town.

Our Favorite Place in the Smokeys

Hands down our very favorite part of visiting Tennessee is staying at this cabin. We spend more time just relaxing here than doing anything else. The hottub, the deck, the fireplace, the views.. everything is Awesome! Our dogs love to come and enjoy our trips with us so being able to bring them here is also a huge bonus. We LOVE Camp Runamuk and are sad every time we leave, always wishing we could stay longer. Thank you for sharing this amazing place with us.

I want to right a bad review so I can keep this awesome gem all to my self. It was a beautiful property. Love the whole camping vibe throughout. Spacious room for the whole family and then some . Felt right at home can’t wait to go back. Amazing view, close to everything I am it’s biggest fan and I have the shirts to prove it.

A Solid Recommend

Overall, this is a fine property as reflected in the pictures. Wonderful sun room overlooking the mountain view, fun fire pit area (with that same mountain view) and good space for family fun. I was disappointed to not have the fireplace setup to be wood burning. The downstairs king mattress was uncomfortable (for us at least). The stairs leading to the loft/upstairs bedroom are incredibly narrow, making it difficult (and ill advised for older people or thise without climbing ability) to go up and down. I still recommend the property for all its character and overall positive attributes.

We Loved Camp Runamuk

This place is spectacular. We are a family of 4 with 2 young adult kids and Tuna, our Labrador Retriever. We picked Camp Runamuk mainly because it is pet friendly. The location, view, and decor made us even happier about our choice, though. The house is very comfortable and well laid out. The porch off the kitchen is a great place to watch the sunrise. The fire pit out back was great. Kitchen is well stocked. We cooked one night and got dinners delivered our other nights there. No issue with delivery companies getting to the house. Camp Runamuk is just far enough from downtown Pigeon Forge to feel like you are in the woods but you are 5-10 minutes from everything. We would definitely go back to Camp Runamuk.

Family Fall Break

The location of the property was amazing! You were close to Dollywood/Gatlinburg but still felt secluded when you were at the cabin. The decor was also great - we loved the ‘summer camp’ vibe of the cabin with the historic photos throughout the property. The game room loft area was also a big hit with our kids!We had several issues that I addressed with the property management company, but they did not have technicians available to assist that day & they also could not guarantee they would be available when we returned to the cabin (we were traveling with dogs and did not want the maintenance crew to enter while we were away). We were not offered any assistance or suggestions after this initial correspondence. In addition, the WiFi was very unreliable - mainly needed the wifi/internet for streaming services on TVs since the cabin also did not have a cable provider. Could not use the TV in the main bedroom because it was unable to connect to wifi at all; living room tv was unable to connect to streaming services (such as Comcast app) so had to connect on our cell phones and share the screen to the main TV. Would have appreciated extra blankets (for the living room or to sit out on the back deck at night) and more towels (only 1 towel per person to use at the hot tub and for showers).

Cozy with incredible views

When we arrived, the view was better than the pictures. The mountains were never ending. The cabin was very nice. Clean, well supplied and beds and couch were very comfortable. We were traveling with our 2 dogs and they even felt at home, even without their fenced yard. The drive into the towns was very reasonable. Unfortunately it rained on and off everyday so we didn't get to enjoy the firepit, but it is a great amenity. There was just a small issue with the code coming in, but I need to say that the owner quickly called me after I contacted the rental company and he made sure we got in. Great customer service all around!Our party of 5 all say that we would definately stay again and recommend this cabin.Thank you camp Runamuk for a great family vacation!

Would not allow early check-in. The pillows are horrible so make sure you bring your own. The hot tub is very small. Great location.

Great location!

Great location and easy to find! We loved this cabin. It had plenty of space and things to do for the children. The only downsides were the pillows were hard as rocks, the water pressure was not good at all and towards the end of our stay the cabin was filled with an egg smell. And the cleaning wasn’t to great. A lot of dust. Also, before our stay trying to contact the owner was an no go! No response! Other than those things it was great. We will be staying here again!

Quick weekend

My son had a school group trip to Dollywood, so we chose to rent a cabin and make a weekend of it. The “Camp Runamuck” was very well done and so much fun. The deck, fire pit and hot tub area were the perfect spot to take in the mountain view. It was one of our all time favorite spots. It’s a great location that feels further out yet it’s only a couple minutes from attractions.

Beautiful cabin!

This was the second time my husband and I have stayed at this cabin. This cabin comes with a stocked kitchen! It truly feels like home away from home. It’s secluded enough to feel like you’re far off in the mountains but just 5-10 minutes away from all activities the city has to offer. It has a spacious yard for our dog to run around as well. The perfect cabin for a small or large family in my opinion. You won’t be disappointed! We plan to make this a yearly vacation spot, that’s how much we enjoyed our stay both times!
