Don’t miss Albion in Cassia County! Coffee @Mountain Momas, great meals @Tank Hill and Piggy Sues. Its wonderful. And nearby are Pomerelle Ski Resort, Lake Cleveland, and Mt. Harrison for the botanists. Gorgeous!! About 30 min away is Rock City. If you’re a rock climber you won’t be disappointed. This is an amazing drive through God’s rock garden. Don’t miss Twin Falls gorge either. I loved Albion!

Albion - Papa's cottage
We had a great couple of nights. We ventured to City of Rocks. We did wake up to an inch of snow one morning. The cottage was bigger than I thought it would be and was well furnished and clean.
As a native Idahoan, I have been visiting Pomerelle for over 30 years. This is an amazing place to stay and it gives you the ability to ski the first runs of the morning till mid afternoon, go back to the house, take a nap, eat an early dinner, and head back up for some night skiing. You can't beat the location if Pomerelle is your final destination.
It is well equipped and suited our needs perfectly. It has a Keurig, traditional coffee pot, and a french press. I couldn't find that in the description and took my own press but we were good anyways. There is only one restaurant in town so having the ability to make our own food was perfect.
We will definitely do this trip again.
Stayed 9 nights at "Old Albion" cottage with our grandsons (9 and 12 years old). Very comfortable space. Their favorite hangout space was the porch area.Everything was meticulous, the setting, furniture, kitchen, bathroom, sleeping porch area. Kitchen was well equipped with quality pots and pans, casserole dishes, baking sheets, plenty of silverware and dishes, spices, etc. No need to bring your own products, as everything was there. Plenty of board games for family time at night.Beautiful bathroom with fluffy towels and quality shampoo and body gel.Bedrooms are small, but great mattresses, pillows, and bedding. Only challenge was to get in/out of bed: beds were placed against the wall, making access difficult for the person who sleeps on that side of the bed, especially for people, who may not be that limber anymore. We had a fantastic time and grateful the cottage was available when we were there.Albion is a small town. We did some grocery shopping at the local Mercantile, which also served the most delicious homemade ice cream (huckleberry!), and we went out for dinner at the local pizza/Italian restaurant. Very affordable! We prepared most of our meals at home, because of the fantastic kitchen.

Great Place
The is an amazing opportunity to see a part of the state that doesn't get a lot of visitors. Pomerelle is fun little resort worth visiting. This is house is well equipped for multi day visit. There is only one restaurant in town, so having a full kitchen to cook meals is a must if you stay in this area. It was very convenient place to stay.
Thanks
This cottage was perfect for our family of five.
The cozy and thoughtful design was utterly charming. We had a tiny snafu with coffee that our host remedied expertly.
If you stay here and crave BBQ, check out Piggy Sue’s BBQ around the corner.
This cottage was really, really nice. They did a great job and it looks really good inside. We had a family reunion a block away and it was nice to have our own space. Would recommend this place to anybody

Very cute!
Super cute cottage! The beds were comfy, everything was clean! My kids loved the muffins! It was one block away from our family reunion at the Albion Miller hall.
Wonderful find in the quaint town of Albion. Very small community, but within a short drive, plenty to explore. Our host Tracy, was a great communicator and was invested in our desire to be happy with the stay. She was on top of any issue that arose and took care of it promptly.
The cottage itself is immaculate and welcoming and cozy. Super awesome, soft, bed linens, which are big for me. Kitchen is fully stocked, and overall, even though it is "old" the renovations and upgrades make it feel like a luxury stay.
It is obvious that the Old Albion Cottage was a place surrounded by love. Thank you for allowing us to share in that. ❤
The cottage is a very nice and cozy property located in the small town of Albion. The cottage is accessible, by car, to a variety of southern Idaho points of interest and scenic byways including City of Rocks, Twin Falls, Snake River, Perrine Bridge, Minidoka National Historic site. Host Tracy was very accommodating and provides a great deal of pertinent and interesting information that made our stay very enjoyable.
Pros:
Everything you'd want in a extended stay. From management to all the amenities to the mixed-style decor, I would absolutely stay at this home again without hesitation if we return to the area. In terms of amenities this place has it all, literally. Comfortable, cozy and creative that has a woman's touch. The welcome sign is a nice, personal detail.
Con:
Location. It's situated literally in the middle of nowhere in a very small town that doesn't offer a lot of amenities. Very quiet and quaint, maybe too much for some ppl.
If you plan to cook you will need to get your groceries elsewhere. Elsewhere is a bit of a distance. So plan ahead.
Our Albion Cottage was astonishingly beautiful inside. Professionally decorated, it was both interesting and comfortable. I highly recommend this cottage.
What an incredible spot- clean, cozy and bright. The property owner did a great job in making the place welcoming for our family after 2 days of skiing at one of the best kept secrets in Idaho, Pomerelle Ski Resort. Thank you for providing a great experience!
We were looking for a place to getaway in Southern Idaho to explore and this home was perfect for our family of 6. The home was furnished beautifully and had everything you would expect or hope for plus more. We enjoyed trying out the Tempur-Pedic mattresses and the Internet/wifi was great for downtime in the cottage.
Highly recommended!
Choosing to visit Albion was done in an effort to simply escape the Covid19 isolation blues. We chose a place on the map where the county had zero reports of any cases, and Albion looked as good as anywhere else!
We honestly had no idea what to expect, and we were quickly charmed with the small town tucked in near the base of Pomerelle Ski Resort.
The Cottage was beautifully decorated with everything that anyone could want. It was charming, comfortable, and we felt right at home as if it was our own.
If your are either a ski/boarder enthusiast, or a climber exploring The City of Rocks, then look no further. The Old Albion Cottage is ideal for your getaway away from the hustle and bustle.
Thank you to Tracy and her family for everything!
The Old Albion Cottage was an amazing home. It appears small from the outside, but there was plenty of room for everyone. The beds were comfortable with Sleep Number mattresses in the bedrooms and amazing foam ones in the sleep porch. The modern kitchen had all the amenities one could ask for. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and this one was by far the most well equipped. Upon checkin there was delicious homemade bread waiting for us on the kitchen table. We felt very welcome. The area is quaint with historic buildings nearby. We enjoyed spending the day exploring Mt Harrison and going to the nearby Burley Straw Maze. I would recommend the Old Albion Cottage to anyone who needs to relax and unwind.
Amazing Idaho Cottage!!! Great for kids and access to City of Rocks!!
We had a great trip to Idaho and really enjoyed this amazing little cottage. Our kiddos loved sleeping on the beds in the cute front nook.
The 4th of July celebration in Albion was unique and great for kids. Lots of floats, candy and had a hometown feel.
The cottage is centrally located in town and we loved being able to walk to the playground and ice cream shop. Next time we will have to bring our bikes!
We went to Burley for the pool and the fireworks on the golf course. The fireworks were spectacular! They were so close, really right over our heads! We were also super close to the City of Rocks National Reserve. We loved hiking and exploring the unique landscape and knowing we had a hot shower and cozy place to come home to at night.
I love the decor and furnishings at the Old Albion Cottage. I am also a VRBO host in our home so I truly appreciated having everything we needed available and such a cozy and clean place. The kitchen was well stocked with knives, utensils, and pots/pans to cook.
I can tell this is a special place for the owners and now this is also a special place for us! We are already thinking about the next time we can come visit!

Quaint outside, brand new inside
This was the perfect little launching point for our family. The location is central to so many attractions and recreational spots and the drive to anywhere from the house is easy. The house is beautifully restored, it could not be more comfortable. A perfect getaway!
