We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Driftwood. The house is able to accommodate many people! We were very comfortable because of the large space, and we specifically were looking for a large kitchen so we could cook our meals. The kitchen did not disappoint! It had everything we needed and was large enough for several people to help out with the meals. The beds were super comfortable, we were able to park in the garage and communicating with the owners was super easy. I highly recommend this VRBO!
This is our 3rd time renting this comfy vacation home. Very spacious, clean, comfortable, equipped with everything you need, walking distance to everything, close to a bike trail, and relaxing!! We’re looking forward to coming back!!
The property suited our family and was close to what we wanted to do during our stay in Morro Bay. Our host provided us with everything we needed and was very accommodating.
Erin was so helpful with all instructions! Easy to find. The accommodations were perfect. I can see a big family group to fit perfectly too. Clean, well lit, lots of kitchen space and all the items needed were there. Beds were really comfortable and the right place to stay when day visits to south and north. Thank you!
Great location- easy walk to the Embarcadero, restaurants, shops. Quick drive to Cayucos and Cambria. Beds were comfy, quiet area. Close to the Highway, but you couldn’t hear it from inside! Really nice place!
Roomy, pleasant, well-equipped house located close to the exit from highway 1. A five minute walk up the hill takes you to Main St and a view of the rock. Another five minutes walk down to the waterfront area. The house was clean and well-equipped, we had no problems with access. Would stay again.
This place is beautiful! Came here with our adult sons (from NY and Socal) and met other family members (who were in other Vrbos) in this spacious, beautiful beach home. Everything we needed was provided: kitchenware (we baked, we BBQed, and we used the instant pot for soup), linens, and even thoughtful things like moistened makeup wipes, and nightlights in bathrooms. While we didn't need it, there's many children's picture books, building toys and games. Perfect for any kind of family. Its a short walk to downtown or the Rock or shopping/eating although hills are a bit steep on the way there. We'd definitely choose Erin's place again if we found ourselves in Morro Bay!
Our family had a wonderful Thankgiving at Driftwood House. We had everything that we needed and appreciate that Erin included some toys & books for the youngest in our crowd.
We spent a week in Erin's Driftwood house and it worked out great. Our daughter and her family joined us and there was plenty of room for everyone. It's close enough to walk to the Embarcadero but we drove. That first block coming up Beach Street on the way back is just too steep for me and the wife. It's an easy walk to downtown though and the Hungry Fisherman and Carla's Kitchen were within walking distance also. The Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and was an open flowing floor plan upstairs. There are a lot of stairs and most everything is on the top floor so be aware of that.
I would definately stay here again if we have family with us!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location and property were absolutely perfect and close to everything. The layout was so open and friendly with plenty of room to move around and still have individual spaces. The master shower was delightful. and communication with the host was top notch. We''ll definitely stay here again.
We have stayed here before. It is very roomy for large family gatherings. Lots of beds to sleep. All toiletries supplied. It does have alot of stairs for those that have knee or hip issues. We all had a great time.
We have stayed in Morro Bay at least once a year for over 40 years while traveling on family vacations. This house was in a great location with tons of space and all the needed amenities. The kitchen had all the basics included and so did all the other common areas and restrooms. The house was great!
We our super grateful to our host for accommodating us when we had to change our schedule. The house is perfect for families with children. So many books, toys and puzzles that kept them busy when we were not out and about Morro Bay. The location is in walking distance of everything on the Embarcadero. We loved every minute of our stay.
We enjoyed our stay here in Morro Bay. We were visiting the area for a wedding. The house was comfortable for our needs and especially great for our 6 year old granddaughter. There were LOTS of books and toys at the house. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. The location was very convenient Just a heads up for those bothered by street noise, we did have a
moderate street noise, especially when the windows were open. We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at the driftwood house! It was a perfect location to add a beach trip to our Cal Poly visit. The house was decorated in such a nice beach vibe and had everything we needed. It provided a relaxing break for our whole family!

About the host

We have been blessed with a large, active family and the Central Coast is a place we marvel at God's creation.
Why they chose this property
Morro Bay is centrally located between the beaches of Cayucos, Montana de Oro, Avila, and Pismo. Within a few short minutes you can travel up or down the coast depending on the kind of day you are looking for.
What makes this property unique
The Driftwood House is in the perfect location. Located only 1/2 mile from the Embarcadero it is a quick walk to fish 'n chips in the evening or to watch the otters play in the morning. The house itself is bright with windows and skylights while warm and comfortable. Open areas allow for everyone to be together or the kids can retreat to their own TV and play areas. The outside balcony is the perfect spot to throw on a sweatshirt and BBQ some oysters while the others play one of the many card or board games available.
