This was a fine stay at a no-frills cabin home in the tri-states. Easy check-in and out and the amenities you'd expect for a low key weekend. A word of warning for those sensitive to cigarette smoke: this very much seems like a former smokers home and the smell took me back decades (not in a good way).

Unfortunately, it seemed that the property had not been accessed for a while. The screen door to the porch was jammed and couldn't be opened to get to the front door. Winter supplies were propped against it. The shed had multiple broken window panels and the side door padlock was also inaccessible and I could see broken blinds. The host company doesn't have after hours support so there was no option to access the house.

Overall we had a nice stay at this property. It is a small older house which seemed to be renovated for renting. Sleeps six, not sure about that. There are two small bedrooms, and perhaps the couches are pullouts? Six would be tight. It had all of the things you might expect available in the kitchen for a rental at this price point.We saw some bunnies, and several turkey vultures on the property, and there were some big ants that found their way into the house. The steep walk to the river was nice, but probably not appropriate for older people. Super pretty at the water's edge.Communication with the property management company was excellent.
