Beautiful old home and very nicely updated. Love the location. Quiet street yet walk to everything. Have stayed there twice and hope to come back again.
The house was even better than pictured! Clean, great location and very comfortable. Parking was always convenient without any problems. We would definitely choose again!
Convenient location close to start of GAP and C&O trails and downtown Cumberland attractions, clean, nice amenities and would stay here again for a couple days of riding the trails.
Beautiful, comfortable home in walking distance of downtown and the train ride.

We had a nice stay. The place was simple and clean, and had a nice kitchen and upstairs bathroom. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We just had a little miss when we couldn't figure out how to use the code box to get in, and the owners were at work...so it took a call to VRBO to make sure we had the code right and to figure out how t on use the box. Other than that, all was good.
This property was perfect for our friend weekend getaway! We each had our own space, 2 bath 2 bedroom, great kitchen and living areas. It was a great base to explore the town, shops restaurants. We had a lovely time, thank you!
This was a girls weekend getaway. The host was very helpful had trouble getting in. The location made it easy to get to restaurants and stores, but we mostly stayed in the lovely, nicely appointed home to cook and get caught up. Parking was easy, the beds were comfortable, setup was sweet. We would definitely stay there again.
Great location, nicely finished with great beds and a incredible shower and tub.

We had a few hiccups with our arrival but after we did get in, mostly everything was fine. The location of this house is excellant and walkable to stores, restaurants, the canal area, the bike trails. The house was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The bedrooms were comfortable though they each have 2 skylights in them, so you are getting up early with that light coming in. There are only 2 things I would change here, one is the shower needs a matt, it is a sloped floor and was slippery. It also could use a towel hook. The other is the living room, not the kind of room to lounge in on a rainy day, not very comfortable chairs and couches. We weren't at the house alot so not a big deal. I would stay here again though. Also, don't walk past the corner tavern down the street without popping in for a beer, coffee or sandwich, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Great location close to downtown. The instructions for keypad were a bit confusing, but the host was helpful. She was very responsive to any questions.
Traditional charm with modern updates. Cozy stay with convenient location to revitalized downtown. We walked (strolled?) everywhere, including to memorable meal at Ristorante Ottaviani. Lulled to sleep by the train sounds each night. Clean and well-equipped home and the upstairs bath is phenomenal spa experience.
Visited Cumberland to ride the Frostburg Flyer. This home is a 5 minute walk to the train, stores and restaurants. The hosts have provided everything you will need. My husband admired the electrician that wired the lights and fans. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Heidi & Matt!
Such a cool location and home. Extremely clean and well appointed. Street parking is tight which is to be expected with location. Will definitely stay again next time we are back in the area.
Property was clean and had all the necessities. The bed was very comfortable. The only down side was the very narrow street that made it slightly difficult to navigate and park. Walking distance to a lot of attractions.
It was a very nice stay. Close to everything. The owners were amazing. Kitchen needed some updating with pots pans etc. but owners were very responsive.
We were in walking distance of many things. Quiet area other than the sounds of trains. We loved the steam shower!!! We spent some time in the historic district checked out Mezzo’s which is an amazing place to eat with lots of great food choices! You must try the brew city fries with brown gravy and their wings are awesome. JJs pizza and wings were good. We would definitely stay here again!
Lovely, quiet apt. convenient walking distance to all downtown attractions. Very well-appointed and large kitchen and luxurious main bath. A few details overlooked in cleaning but otherwise spotless. Large bedrooms with much storage. Owners kindly let us checkout at 230p on Christmas Day with no extra charge. Would def stay here again.
My college roommate lives in Pittsburgh and I’m outside of DC. So Cumberland makes for a perfect spot to meet annually in the middle… and this home has become a part of that tradition! It’s well-located to the downtown area, and also makes for a good hub from which to explore beyond Cumberland- like to 1812 Brewery & Rocky Gap. Everything within the house is clean and available, and the homeowners are pleasant and accommodating!
