This welcoming beach home is one row back from the ocean, located at milepost 21 in South Nags Head. It is just a 3-minute walk—about 150 yards—to the beach access, with beautiful ocean and sound views from the sunrooms and newly updated decks.
The home sleeps up to 8 guests and includes 4 bedrooms: one king bedroom with en suite bathroom, one queen bedroom, one double bedroom, and one bedroom with twin beds. There are 3 bathrooms total.
The open-concept main floor features attractive new luxury vinyl plank flooring in grey ash, a new dining table for six, four new barstools, and an additional sunroom table seating four. The kitchen has brand-new appliances.
Dogs are welcome, with a maximum of 2 dogs and a $100 fee per dog.

Laila & Ridley did not disappoint! The house is lovely, loaded with paintings and treasures from all over the world...plenty of room and had everything we might have needed. Short walk to the beach, doggies loved ! So did Mom & Dad Very quiet neighborhood...ventured out each day, everything was within a 15 minute drive. Would definitely rent again!

The house is in a great location and access to the beach is nearby. Shopping and great restaurants are near in the Whalebone area and also Manteo.I would recommend up grading the grill, perhaps buying a combo k-cup/coffee pot coffee maker and including a griddle or a large frying pan to assist in cooking for large families. There was insufficient paper towels and toilet paper which we bought and left at the house.Overall, we were happy with the accommodations.

Property was just as described. Great loctaion in South Nags Head close enough to everything you would need but remote feel in a quiet neighborhood. Host was extremely cfast to reply to all communications which I found extremely refreshing. Yard could have used a mow and there is no recycling bins.

Thanks for the review. Apologies for the tall grass in the lawn. Our caretaker was ill on July 26 with respiratory problems. He wanted to come and mow the lawn on Monday. Ivan didn’t feel to disturb you. If you would have notified, we would have taken care of the lawn immediately.
We absolutely believe in recycling but most of the neighbors didn’t wanted to pay extra for recycling. We were advised to drop off the recycle items in the recycling center. Next year we will add the recycling center information in our welcome letter. We take our guests reviews seriously.

Perfectly close to the beach and secluded!
Our stay at Nags Tale was wonderful! The home is in excellent proximity for close beach access, and the area does not feel crowded compared to farther north in Nags Head.
The home offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’d enjoy staying here again!

Great stay in Nags Head!
We had a family reunion in Nags Head and had a great stay. The house is spacious and clean enough for 5 adults and 2 children. We loved walking to the beach and the upper balcony and sun room was a treat. Highly recommend!

Roomy house with great location.

Nags Tale Vacation

Good place in a great location
We were looking for a pet friendly house that is clean, simple, and close to the beach, and that's exactly what we got. We were also very happy with its location, just inside the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. You have the true Outer Banks feel, but it's only a short drive to the shopping district if you need supplies.

Loved this house and location! The view from the deck and large windows is great! Relaxing place!
Great hosts and comfortable house in a very quiet location. No traffic or crowds. Felt like obx when I was a kid. Home was very clean and cozy with everything we needed for a relaxing week.
