About this property
The Lodge at Fairfield Court
Immerse yourself in the history and stories of Fairfield Court - the home of Lady Godiva.
The Lodge is part of the Grade 2* listed moated manor house which dates back to the Monks of Worcester and hence Anglo Saxon origins.
During your stay you will have access to all the grounds to enjoy a traditional and authentic experience surrounded by countryside, private gardens, plentiful wildlife and even ghost stories with a guided tour of the history on site!
All just 2 miles from the M5
The space
The Lodge is decorated with style in keeping with the countryside location and the heritage on site. Comfortable and functional spaces which have all been fully refurbished and redecorated this year - new kitchen and bathroom.
The TV has a full selection from Netflix, Prime and all the expected terrestrial internet channels. WiFi is fibre broadband from BT.
To get your stay off to a comfortable start the kitchen will be stocked with Milk, teas. coffees, sweets and a simple bottle of wine to enjoy in front of the fire or in the historic gardens.
Guest access
The entire Lodge is yours to make your own during your stay, further afield the entire estate is at your disposal to explore and enjoy from 60 acres of rolling fields to numerous woods and coppices. immediately to the rear of the Lodge and within the confines of the historic moat are the gardens where you can roam freely and relax on the benches, chairs or even deck chairs and picnic blankets depending on your preference (and weather).
If you wish to have a more detailed tour of the Old House then we will gladly show you around the Grade 2* building, the scheduled monument and explain all the stories and rich history of the Court from Kings hiding in the attic, to secret chapels, ghosts and Oliver Cromwells writing desk in the Hall!
Other things to note
Firewood is provided for the log burner
Welcome snacks, biscuits and essentials will be stocked in your fridge. Dogs will have towels and treats.
TV has subscription services from Prime, Sky Sports, Netflix and the free to air apps from BBC, ITV, C4, C5 and so on.
Broadband is provided
Parking is secure and down a private drive, CCTV monitors the drive for peace of mind
Dogs can roam free in the back garden and onsite as long as they are under control. You will also have access to a secure dog field.
Our children are mostly on site with us and eager to show visiting youngsters all the sights, secret dens, tree houses, and swings as well as happy to share their bikes, quad bikes, trampolines and games room!
