Hi Louise, thank you for leaving a review. The cleaning person did start on your unit at 11:30 and was almost done with the unit when you came in to see if you could check in early. I told you it was not ready yet. When I called the cleaning person she told me she was having trouble getting the people in the other units to leave. After I talked to you I went over and told them they had 10 min. to leave or I was calling the police and they did leave. I have never had to do that before. When I called you to tell you it was ready you said you went to another place and rented it for the night but you would come the next day and stay the 3 nights since it was available still. On VRBO you messaged me you loved the view and were having a relaxing time. Later you called and said the dishwasher and garbage disposal was broken by the people before you. You said you did not want a repair person to come while you were there. You said you didn't plan on using either since you had disposable plates and silverware. You did tell me there was a smell and I suggested taping around it so the smell would not come out. Since I am in my late 70;s I had my cleaning person go and tape around the dishwasher and garbage disposal drain because of the smell. I did not know that the disposal was leaking water till you left. We have replaced both the dishwasher (motor went out) and disposal (someone put something like a hard bone and it hit the side of the disposal and cracked it) after you left. Yes, you left a message VRBO which said you were leaving the afternoon after your second night but again said nothing else except to thank the cleaning person for all her hard work, the tape worked, you had a nice fire in the fireplace with your coffee that morning, and loved the view. I have let the cleaning service go and gotten someone else since you said it was not clean in your review and she had plenty of time to clean. I am really sorry for all the miss understanding and miss communications on both sides.
