Super cute, had everything we needed. Only stayed for the night but would’ve been nice to stay a little longer and sit out on the beautiful deck. AC in the living room and main bedroom was nice, but the other bedroom was a bit hot so we opted to stay on the pull out couch. Would stay here again for sure.

The place was filthy and it stank. We couldn’t stay; we left after 10 minutes. The place was unlocked with no key to be found, and a wallet was left on the couch (along with trash) making us think they may have double booked and the other tenant was just out for the evening. Still no response from the owner, and no way to get our money back from a place that we never stayed in because it was so gross.

I'm very sorry you had a bad experience. Unfortunately I had dropped my phone in the water the day before your arrival and was not able to get into my account and check to see if there was any reservations for the following days. The wallet on the sofa was mine as well as the "trash" you seen at the property. I was trying to set up old phones and sim cards so I could access my accounts. And lastly about the so called "STANK", that was most likely the seaweed in the water all around the boat. The seaweed in key west this time of year is very unpleasant. So I hope that answers all of your assumptions and clears up all the nasty and immature things you said about my property. We could have figured this out like adults but you were too busy publicly slandering my home.

There was no check in just text host. Who did not acknowledge. Key was “hidden” under a rug which it was not it was sitting in view by door and door was unlocked upon arrival. No safety security measures. There was clutter on the deck. Old unstable or sturdy setting. “Water toys” was in a bucket with nasty dirty water. Which included 1 snorkel fin and several dirty mouth pieces. No kayak to be found as noted. Host didn’t reply soon enough to be able to get feedback. Was 2 leaks inside the living area of boat, which it did rain. Host was aware of a leak. Cracked windows. And to top it off roaches and woke up to the surprise of crabs in the bedroom area. Host admitted to having a roach problem she was aware of and was trying to fix. Place should not have been rented out until addressed properly. And there was no fire extinguisher, smoke detector or even carbon monoxide detector. (Or in view) I did look for them. Which these items are to be in view for rentals incase of an emergency. The area it was located was very shady and dirty. Pretty sure we watched a couple of drug deals go down near the taxi garage. Would highly recommend never booking this spot unless you have no expectations. The only plus was a sunrise in the morning. But we didn’t even stay for our booking we left first thing in the morning to find a new place to stay. We are boat owners so no this wasn’t a “new” experience. We are knowledgeable with boathouses. And this was unacceptable.

Tina was a thoughtful host, but amentities were not as reflected. Most importantly (1) the main bed was not a "double bed" but a twin sized bed, not suitable for sharing and (2) the toilet is not a standard toilet but a pump boat tolilet requring water to be poured from the sink - this may be standard on a boat, but it was a suprise to folks who may be less familiar with boats. There were some other issues which might be attribuatable to the folks before us trashing the place.That said, it was a very budget stay where things are often much more expensive in Key West. My kids did enjoy eating breakfast sitting on the deck, looking out at the bay. If you don't count on two people sleeping in the double bed and don't mind the ship toilet that is the main bedroom, its a decent budget stay.
