About this property
60s Art Bungalow with Pool in Hollywood Hills
Discover the beauty of Hollywood Hills from this 2-bedroom home originally built in the 60s by the Dole Pineapple family with views of the Hollywood Sign. The home was updated in 2018 with new finishes and appliances. The bungalow abuts a vineyard and overlooks the valley from the spacious backyard. With a comfy king bed and a guest queen bed (or office if requested), guests can enjoy a comfortable stay with family (10 minute drive to Universal Studios) or a private work space close to the studios. All basic amenities are provided (linens, cookware, cleaning supplies, internet, televisions, hairdryers, etc.)
The master bathroom comes equipped with a bathtub that overlooks the valley for a sparkling view at night and shower. The guest bath comes with a solitary shower. Both are equipped with a modern Scottish spa shower head.
The modern kitchen is equipped with high end appliances for all your cooking needs and bountiful counter space made with carrera marble.
Lastly, the two tiered large backyard is equipped with an outdoor dining table, seating area, and original 60's bean pool (though not heated, in the summer months it is a refreshing dip.)
Also in the yard is an above ground jacuzzi with jets and fruit and avocado trees for picking!
The home is filled with art, some of which is for sale and is available for purchase upon request
NOTICE: There is a guest house separate from the main house where a house supervisor resides three days of the week. It is unlikely you will run into our caretaker; however, please be advised someone will reside on the property three days of the week and may be there depending on the days of your visit.

About the host
Hosted by TERRA MAGEE

Born and raised in Los Angeles— this is my home. I’m both an artist and lawyer. However by hosting I truly hope you can get a feel for what Los Angeles actually is which I am afraid many tourists miss out upon. I’ve lived up in the hills for 8 years now and no matter where you are up here, you feel the such a fascinating mix of old and new, of hippies and yuppies.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is full of eccentric and interesting people who have called these hills their home for a long time. The people that live here have great respect for the community up here and as such, we hope visitors will appreciate that.
What makes this property unique
This property was built in the 60’s by the Dole pineapple family. Though it’s been redone fairly recently, you can still sense the feeling of Hawaii in its planting, layout, and overall sense of peace. I was told that even Sean Connery came up here for a party or two back in the day!
