Surf City Swell Beach House





Part beach bungalow, part surf shack, but all cozy 4-bedroom beach cottage. A mid-century modern inspired house steps from the beach. With it's mid-century modern inspired living room, and a wide open back deck, this is where you'll want to be for your week at the beach.



The house has 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 1 bedroom on the lower floor. The 4th bedroom on the lower floor has a private entrance with easy access to the rear deck. Perfect for those who are on the go early or out late. Each upstairs bedroom features a comfy queen bed. Lower level bedroom has 2 twin beds and a large smart TV for streaming or gaming. The 4th bedroom with private entrance has a queen bed.



Fresh linens, and fluffy towels are included in the rental fee for use during your stay. Beds will be made for your arrival. Upon departure, no need to strip beds or start the laundry. Our five star cleaning staff will handle that for you.



A 4 seat golf cart is available for rent with the house for an additional fee for the week (valid driver's license and proof of insurance required). Please message for additional information.





The house is equipped with an exterior cargo elevator, AC, heating, large gas grill, wifi, washer & dryer, and an open concept living and dining room that opens up to the spacious covered back deck for dining and relaxing after a day of jumping in the waves or strolling the beach.



The lower deck features a seating area for some quiet time. There's an outdoor shower for the best post beach rinse off! An exterior deep basin sink and counter are available for cleaning your catch of the day on the pier. Spacious decks run along 3 sides of the house.



No pets allowed.



We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our house. The Surf City Swell beach house is a place you can enjoy for a family vacation, girls retreat or weekend getaway.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please leave your used towels on the floor in the laundry room.
Please hang the cargo lift remote to the hook above the kitchen sink.
Don't forget to sign out of your streaming services on the TV.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Do not remove bath towels from the house to take to the beach. Extra beach towels for you to use are located in the hall pantry closet.
Do not take indoor furniture out of the house to use outside. Also, do not rearrange any furniture inside the house.

We are a family who loves the beach and Topsail Island. We're excited to share a little of what we love with your family on your trip to the beach. We've been traveling to the Outer Banks and the NC coast since the early 80's. Topsail Island has been our second home since 2012.

Why they chose this property

Surf City has it all! The convenience of the central location on the island can't be beat. We are situated at Surf City Beach Access #3. There are restaurants with in walking distance. Shops and the central business district with a variety of boutiques and dining is a short drive down the road.

What makes this property unique

Our Mid-Century Modern beach bungalow is one of a kind. We're a family of designers - architects and event designers specifically, so we've put a lot of thought and care into the room layouts, decor choices, and amenities offered (hello - fresh towels and beds made for your arrival).

We love to travel, and have experienced travel (good and bad) across the world. Warm hospitality, and thoughtful experience are everything when you're on vacation with your family and friends. We wanted to bring a bit of both to our beach bungalow for you. We hope you'll enjoy them as much as we wanted you to.
