The house is so cute and in an excellent location. So many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Burlington is a hidden gem and we already wanting to go back.
Short family trip to the area and wanted to stay somewhere with a little ‘History’. Highly recommend, historic location that has easy access, modern amenities and just the overall perfect place. Host was always quick to respond and the whole process was easy, check in to check out. Will adjust our next trip if needed just so we can stay there again, place is an eleven on a ten scale. Thank you Becky!
The property was very clean and comfortable. I'm not sure how they managed to renovate a historic property and make everything seem brand new and in perfect working condition... but they did!The location was perfect - walking distance to restaurants and bars, as well as to local, eclectic shops. We walked to the Missippi River and spent some time as tourists at the visitor center. only needed to car to drive over to West Burlington, to the university. The location is quiet. Lots of folks drive down the snake alley driveway, but there is no issue from inside the house. There is no direct parking, but you can drive right up to the property to load and unload. There is plenty of close parking at the top and bottom of snake alley. We had an awesome experience at this property!
Great location, wonderful host communication, and everything you need is there! Beautifully decorated for the fall season. Also, amazing information about Burlington and places to go and things to do. Close to downtown with many shops and restaurants. Fun to stay on Snake Alley! Loved our stay!!
We really enjoyed our stay here! The home is beautiful and the location can't be beat. Of course, being on Snake Alley, there is some climbing involved to get to or from your vehicle, but that's part of the charm of this location. Attentive and welcoming hosts!
The house was beautiful and immaculately clean. We loved the location on Snake Alley and enjoyed La Tavola for dinner and Wake & Bake for breakfast which were both within walking distance. Thanks to Becky for providing all the info and recommendations we needed for our stay. The accommodations were perfect for our family of 5.
This is a very nice property within walking distance of restaurants and bars on historic Snake Alley. The owner was great to deal with recommend it highly!
