About this property
Taxco 25 - Urban Living #1
Located in La Roma neighborhood, Taxco 25 is the latest EDAA's proposal for peaceful, unique, and stylish short stays. A state-of-the-art architecture residential building in which two open-space apartments are reserved exclusively for short term rentals.
Simplicity and sophistication is achieved through a carefully designed and crafted material palette: lush greenery, concrete, wood, rusted steel, window walls, terraces, roof garden, and eco-friendly solar energy and water recycling.
Hosted in an exclusive five-unit residential building designed by EDAA, this ground floor Urban Living space features 80 sqm (860 sqft) of open and continuous space with 3.10 m (10.2 ft) ceiling height.
Taxco 25 - Urban Living #1 is a ground floor apartment with a small and cozy private terrace. Indoor finishes are achieved through an extensive and carefully thought and crafted use of solid pine and plywood. The interior design features a delicate balance of textures, natural and industrial, with a selected color palette. Art and design are central to the experience. EDAA's art-piece production is showcased in the living area as coffee tables (Medio Cero - Half Cero) with manufacture samples dialoguing with traditional Mexican handcrafts.
The apartment is equipped with quality bed linen and bathroom fabrics, as well as a fully equipped kitchen that will delight any cuisine aficionado.
The building is conceived as a continuous and open promenade between the street and the Roof Garden, flowing through the green-leaf vegetated open corridor that welcomes one from the street, through the monolithic staircase that interconnects with each apartment terrace, until reaching the roof top whose flowery vegetation shelters the outdoor grill and lounge area. All the building runs on electricity generated by the 21 solar panels that puncutally shade the Roof Garden.
The building layout is simple and straightforward. A day in Taxco 25 will not miss the vegetated entry corridor and you are most welcome to have a nice breakfast or spend some afternoon time in the common Roof Garden. Juan, the building concierge, will be available to help you out every weekday (9am-6pm, Monday-Friday).
Inside the apartment, Urban Living #1, every meter is available for your use - except for the storage/maintenance closet!
Grab a bite at the local bakery, Boronas Lonchería, for an amazing breakfast that you will not regret, just one block away (corner of calle Taxco and calle Aguascalientes)
