Situated in one of the best neighbourhoods North Vancouver has to offer, this ground-level suite can accommodate up to 6 people. Modern, bright suite centrally located on Lonsdale Avenue with a patio with a view of downtown Vancouver, ocean and mountains. All three bedrooms have queen size beds with 100 % cotton sheets and if you enjoy cooking, the suite has a full kitchen large enough to prepare home-cooked meals.
Bus 230 (15min) to amazing Lonsdale Quay just in front of the house. 12 minute ride on the Seabus to downtown. Skiing/hiking at Grouse Mountain is 10 minutes away. Hiking, biking, restaurants, shopping and more! Secret park for little kids-just 5 minutes walk

Great for short stay to sight see in Vancouver area
This was perfect for a quick 2 night stay. We did main Vancouver before arriving on day 1, then did Capilano bridge the second day. Also did bowling on Lonsdale. Overall, a relaxing family time with our teens. Market close by made it easy to get snacks and make at home meals. House is 2 story with upstairs as another rental unit. Could hear the upstairs occupants, but not bad.

Great getaway in the city
Had a great time with girlfriends at Jana’s place. The accommodation was well suited for three women. Walking distance to local pub. Driving distance to Cyprus Mountain and Lonsdale Market. Would definitely book again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely suite. It’s as advertised. Very clean and spacious with a great outdoor sitting area and a BBQ. It was our home away from home while in town visiting with our adult son and his girlfriend. Thanks so much Jana for making it comfy and easy for us to reach you. Much appreciated!!

The view inside
The suite is lovely, and it’s easy to find once you get off the highway. For us it was a great location and everything you need is close. There is only one minor thing which I think could be improved. There is a suite above and it was occupied by three lovely women attending a conference. The one woman even asked me if I wanted anything from Tim’s on her way out one morning. The parking spots for both units are at the back of the house and walkways go up either side of the house. They usually walked up the west side of the house, but on one morning they departed in the morning going down the east side of the house. As luck would have it, I had just finished my shower, but left the towel in the back bedroom…about five steps from the washroom, through a small hall that has a desk in front of a window. I saw the first woman walk past the window, and knowing that women’s visual acuity is based on movement, I stopped. The first woman walked by and the second, just as thought, the visual acuity thing is for dinosaurs in Jurassic Park. The third woman turned her head, stopped, looked down, looked back up at me and smiled. That evening there was a bottle of wine left at the front door, with a thank you card. No, none of this happened, other than me walking past the window naked and thinking about the possibilities. I just thought I'd give the owner a laugh, and suggest a curtain.

Basecamp
Superb basecamp for activities in the North of Vancouver. We are Not the City People. Therefore this Place was ideal for us. Around there are many Parks, trails and Mountains to explore.

This property offers quick access to downtown, shopping , markets and beaches. Conveniently situated on a main street with direct access to hiking, biking and skiing. There is a small park/playground less than 100 meters away down a small lane.
It is fantastic for travellers wanting to sip wine while looking at the amazing view, or families who want a safe place to play and unwind at the end of the day.
