Villa Lu has 280 m2 and two levels with teracce 100 m2 ideal for the family or group of friends. Newly furnished it consist of 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, full equipped kitchen with stove, oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, dishes, fridge, coffee machine), dining room, living room, gym room, sauna -hot tube, pool table and a large terrace also equipped with kitchen. Villa is also equipped with AC, TV SAT, LCD TV, wireless Internet, hair dryer. Beach, bus station, restaurant, lungo mare are in front of the house -Shops, bank, post Office are located 100 m from vila -20 km away from Airport -7 km from main bus station and ferry port

Wonderful

Stunning & spacious villa, with beautiful views. The location was brilliant with easy access to Dubrovnik (new & old) and quick access to major routes throughout Dubrovnik and beyond.You do ideally need a car although we had no problem with Ubers & there a bus route right outside too. The villa is secure, comfortable & has everything you could need. Mara is wonderful too - I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! We had a perfect holiday

Best Part of the Trip - Villa Lu!

We had an amazing visit at Villa Lu! Everyone in the family had their own space, the grocery store and coffee shops were nearby. The location is perfect for day trips into the Old Town and up north in Ston to visit wineries, salt and oyster farms. There's something so peaceful about Villa Lu. The full moon view from the house is spectacular and Mara was an excellent host. Love to go back again!!

Was contacted by property manager beforehand to confirm arrival time. Check in and check out was very organised and flexible. When we arrived, we were shown around and had the nearest shops and bus stops pointed out to us. The villa was very clean, modern and had everything you would need. Felt luxurious that every room was ensuite. The view was also great. Would definitely rent this villa again if visiting Dubrovnik.

Family holiday

The property was excellent for our family of 9 over 3 generations. Everything you could want in a property. If I was being picky there aren’t enough restaurants within short walking distance although there is a bus stop a short walk away that enables you to get to the old town of Dubrovnik within 30 minutes (€2 each). There are a number of bakers and supermarkets within walking distance and one restaurant within 10 minutes walk, the next nearest restaurants that we found were at the marina which is 4 kilometres away (walkable if you’re fit enough)

Great property!

We stayed at Villa Lu with our family of nine for our vacation in Dubrovnik this year. Mara fantastic to work with – answered questions before we arrived and was very responsive for a few questions we had while we were there. The house is short drive from Old Town (15 minutes) so a convenient location if you want to be a little away from the crowds. Would recommend getting a car for trips to the grocery and day trips around Dubrovnik. Parking around old town is difficult and expensive so probably Uber if you want go into old town. We never had any trouble getting an Uber to and from the house to old town. The house was a perfect set up for our family. Having the pool was perfect since we didn’t end up going to many of the beaches. I would highly recommend this property!

50th Birthday Celebration break

We are a group of 9 ladies who stayed at this beautiful villa. It had ample space for us all and an en suite in each room which was an added bonus. It was spotlessly clean and in a good position close to local amenities including a small supermarket and a nice restaurant, (Galijun), is highly recommended plus the bus stop right outside for Dubrovnik. The restaurant also has a wooden galleon ship outside the front which is a great way to see around the island, plus the lunch was amazing and all the cocktails and prosecco served by Nikola one of the excellent staff. The villa position was stunning overlooking the sea and the terrace and pool area was great. We all had an excellent stay, Mari was a good host, on hand for any queries or recommendations we had. She greeted us personally which was a nice touch. Our only recommendation would be more instructions on the recycling as one of our group is an avid recycler!! Plus an extra mirror in the bedroom in some of the bedrooms and also a couple of hooks behind the doors but this did not hinder our enjoyment. We will definitely be back, thank you Mari x

Modern villa located just outside of Dubrovnik with great views!

We stayed at Villa Lu for 6 nights in September. The house is a very beautiful modern home situated among traditional Croatian houses just outside of Dubrovnik. There was ample space for 7 of us at the villa. The outdoor patio, dining, and pool area was where we spent most of our time. The host, Mara, was incredible to work with and was very helpful identifying a local chef to come to the house, boat tour, and and local tour guide to take us around the old city. While rental cars are definitely necessary for the Villa due to the suburban location, an Uber ride is about 15 minutes into the old city. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to stay among locals, comfortable driving places, and wanting a beautiful villa for your group. There were only two slightly negative aspects of the Villa: 1) There is a very large cell phone tower right outside of the Villa, and there are several Apartment buildings on the hillside behind the villa. We were told that this is normal Croatian housing and we always felt safe at the Villa, however, it was disconcerting when we drove up initially as that’s not represented in the description. 2) The dryer on the property did not work.

Wir waren insgesamt zu zehnt in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Es war alles vom Feinsten, tolle Zimmer, tolle Lage, wunderschöner Ausblick vom Pool und den Terrassen. Alles sehr sauber und luxuriös. Mara war bei Bedarf immer erreichbar und hat sich liebevoll und sofort gekümmert. Wir können es wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Wir wollten gar nicht gehen. An dieser Stelle nochmal herzlichen Dank an Mara.

This villa, the host and the location was everything we wanted in a girls trip! Mara was exceptional-her communication, promptness and overall commitment to our stay was top- notch. The villa is beautiful. Exactly as described. Location is about 15 minutes from Old Town so we took An Uber for all of our travels into the city as parking looked impossible. Villa is very well equipped for a large group, each bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The outdoor space was great for breakfast by the pool. You will love it here.

We loved staying at the Villa in Dubrovnik. The host Mara was lovely and responded quickly to all our inquiries. She gave us great tips and suggested amazing local restaurants. The villa was very comfortable. We were 4 couples with 2 of our daughters in their early 20s. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and the common space was large and inviting. The villa was close enough to the old town by bus or Uber which was prefect to avoid the crowds. It was on the river with great views. Would definitely recommend!

Villa Lu

Totally stunning views, we found the property very clean & comfortable with all amenities catered for. The downstairs kitchen & seating was especially nice. The only slight thing to note was that the shops whilst close were a bit far up some steep steps & pathway for some of our less mobile guests. Although it did not impact our stay at all. Overall we were very happy with the villa & Mara was on hand to help with anything that we needed.

Absolutely perfect!

We travelled to Dubrovnik to celebrate a 70th birthday with family, there were 10 of us including 3 children. Mara was easily contacted and assisted us every step of the way! Highly recommend this property! The villa was perfect, we enjoyed our time swimming and BBQing and generally relaxing, couldnt fault a thing!

Our party of 9 have just returned from a trip to Dubrovnik. The villa was stunning, so well equipped, spotlessly clean, it felt like home from home. Mara was very helpful providing us with restaurant recommendations, day trips and directions to local supermarkets. The views were so stunning, a definite highlight. Splendid stay

Mara is a wonderful hostess. She answered all our inquiries quickly, assisted us with finding a boat rental for the day and recommended spectacular restaurants nearby. Her property is modern, spacious and beautiful with all the necessary amenities. The house is even more beautiful in person than the photos posted. In addition, the house is super clean and situated in a perfect location. Dubrovnik - Old town is only 15 mins away by car. If I return to Croatia, I will definitely return here. I highly recommend everybody to stay in this stunning property.

Perfect Modern Property to stay close to the city

This is a modern property with all the details you like in a modern home. The location is nice with close proximity to the Old City but just far enough to get away and enjoy the quiet. We will stay again.
