The apartment is very nicely decorated and clean except for the bathroom. It wasn’t very clean, not enough toilet paper, no blow dryer, and a burned out light. The neighborhood was also pretty noisy until after midnight.

Communication with the host was excellent. The location is excellent. Description is mostly accurate. In particular - the unit is advertised as air conditioned. There is indeed a portable unit that did a suprisingly good job for a 5th floor unit in 90 degree (F) heat. However, there is no window or door set up for efficiently venting the AC unit. We had to improvise by leaving the door open enough to put the air hose out and use the heavey curtains to block as much airflow as possible. There is an adjacent window that seems like it could be modified for a more efficient set up and better result. Also, the description says "basic soaps." Basic is the right word. There was just one, 1oz tube of soap/body wash for the 4 of us for 2 days in the heat I mentioned. The rooftop teerrace with river view is truly a treasure. Be aware that next door is Zurich Fried Chicken and you do get some fry oil smells once in a while Some umbrellas in this space would make it even more wonderful. These small changes would go a long way to making this appealing and well located apartment even better.
