Lovely Cottage

Tucked into a quiet neighborhood close to the university, restaurants and stores. The area is beautiful and lush. We enjoyed the charming cottage that was the space for perfect for the two of us. The accommodations were clean and cozy.

Quaint, Clean, Picturesque Gardens, Quiet Cottage

We were in town to see Coldplay at Stanford Stadium. The location of this cottage to Stanford is wonderful. The property managers were kind and easy to communicate with. The bed was very comfortable and nice sheets. I’m always concerned with the cleanliness of bathrooms and appreciated the updated shower with bench seat and large overhead showerhead. Menlo Park is a beautiful town and we enjoyed our long weekend stay.

Pleasant stay in Menlo Park

I booked this cottage for my niece and fiancé who were visiting to attend the Dickens Faire. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and centrally located for easy excursions to many Bay Area locations. It was a wonderful place to relax and recharge between activities. I would definitely rebook for any visiting family and friends.

Menlo Park Cottage

A lovely and very comfortable little cottage with a delightful garden! The renovations in the cottage were top notch, with high end appliances in the kitchen and modern and generous shower in the bath. An added, and most enjoyable, feature of this property was a door that opened directly onto a patio with a table and chairs to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The roses in the garden were abundant and spectacular and visible from every window in the cottage!

This is a cute little two room cabin, set amidst several beautiful small garden areas. Although over all on the small side, the rooms were completely adequate in space to effortlessly move around. Owners were there part of the time and were very helpful. Sitting in the garden with a champagne breakfast was heavenly.

very cute cottage in the back garden of a home. beautiful landscaping and a fun group of pets. Tank and KitKat were my pals. Easy drive to SF or SJ via 280 and located near all mid-Peninsula highlights (Stanford, University Ave, Santa Cruz Ave) great hosts and beautiful place. I enjoyed my stay very much and will be back !

Such a great and cozy find

We had a marvelous stay and hope to go back again and again. This treehouse-on-the-ground is small and also capacious. My husband and I got along beautifully for 5 days in this well designed and beautifully appointed 500 square foot space! We were delighted to meet our hosts who took excellent care of us. The outdoor garden space made for lovely California living, and enhanced the sense of luxury. Quiet and green with a serene neighborhood vibe, we give the English Tudor cottage our highest rating.

A Garden Oasis

Loved our stay! We used this as a home base to move my daughter into her dorm - it's very conveniently located close to campus. Though it's in a quiet neighborhood, many amenities are nearby - a Safeway, many restaurants, and Stanford Shopping Center. The cottage itself is tucked behind the owner's home, but access is easy, and includes an adorable (very friendly) canine welcoming committee. If dogs aren't your thing, don't worry, these dogs won't bother you at all, but are happy to receive a tummy rub if you wish. The cottage itself was spotless, with a modern, well-supplied kitchen and bathroom. The queen-sized bed was very comfy, and nights were wonderfully quiet and peaceful, with lovely gardens and outside sitting areas around you. Though we didn't need it, there is A/C, as well as a washer and dryer, and TV with cable. The owners are super friendly if you need them, but the cottage feels very private if you don't. Ample street parking is available with little street traffic. Would stay again!

Overall a lovely stay. The apt is clean and has a washer dryer. The bed is very soft (which I like) but you won't be happy if you need a hard bed. Washer dryer is great. Kitchen has some basic staples (salt, pepper etc). A few small downsides: To get into the property it's necessary to step over a metal 'fence' that keeps the dogs and cats off the street. I suppose it's possible to move but I didn't want to risk it because it looked like it would all tip over. It's a bit awkward and especially tough when carrying a suitcase. Difficult for anyone disabled. Also, during my stay the TV didn't work--kept freezing. The owners were away so it wasn't fixed, a downer.

Wundervolles Gästehaus in liebevoll gestaltetem Garten

Gemütliches Gästehäuschen, in das man sich sofort verliebt. Alles vorhanden, was man sich für einen entspannten Aufenthalt wünscht. Wir haben jeden Morgen auf der Terrasse gefrühstückt unter den Redwoods, ab und zu schaute ein Kolibri vorbei. Abends Barbecue. Super nette und absolut hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir kommen absolut gerne wieder!!

nice quiet cottage in beautiful garden

I stayed in the cottage for 12 nights while I was attanding several activities and work meetings. it is a central spot for mid peninsula and easy to reach freeways to SF or SJ. Menlo Park and Palo Alto have all you need as far as meals, shopping, and etertainment. the cottage is well done with nice appliances and good amount of room for single person or couple. very conformable and easy to come and go as needed. overall a really great stay and I will be back!!

Loved it.

Really nice neighborhood. Convenient to Starbucks and a small market. Owner and pets were great, expecially the friendly cat who hung out with us a lot. The house is very comfy with a full kitchen. Everything you need. Will return.
