About this property
Cozy Craftsman in Queen Anne, Close to Everything!
Just steps away from restaurants, coffee shops, and Trader Joes. Conveniently located near parks (including Kerry Park which has the best views of the city!), the Space Needle, and Key Arena.
Our cozy basement has a private entrance, home theatre, bedroom, newly renovated bathroom, and large foyer/study/coffee suite.
Notes:
- If you 6'0 or taller, there is one area that has a clearance of 5'11.
- You will hear our footsteps as we live upstairs! If you are early risers, this is a good fit.
The space
Our home is a beautiful blue and white craftsman from 1907. Completely remodeled, it’s cozy with all of the old-school charm. Look for the red rocking chairs on the porch!
Our place includes a bedroom, office area, bathroom and living room with a big screen TV and access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and HBO.
Please note that the space does not include a full kitchen or sink. We have a coffee nook set up, and provide a few dishes, but you will need to wash dishes in the bathroom sink.
If you are tall, there are a few areas where you will continually have to duck and it may be an uncomfortable stay. Looking at the pictures closely, you will have to duck in two areas: you can see the air-ventilation system in the ceiling leading to the living room, and then upon entry/exit down the stairwell.
Guest access
You have your own private entrance into the remodeled basement of our house. Walk up the stairs from the street, and at the first landing, follow the path left. There is a side door with a key code lock pad on it. This is your entrance!
We are located on the top of the hill and there are 26 steps leading up to the front door. Directly across the street is a park, Queen Anne play field. Please feel free to come in and out of the back gate, leading to the alleyway, just be sure to close the gate behind you.
Other things to note
There is a path directly behind our home that leads to the book store and Queen Anne Coffee Co., literally 300 feet away for a great cup of joe! Trader Joe’s is about 800 feet away, as well as many restaurants, Bartell Drugs, ice cream, boutiques and all that Queen Anne Ave have to offer!
